fasting for blood work???

Im having a hepatic panel done only, my other level of everything wlese were just fine when tested 3 weeks ago, my doctor is making me go again because my liver values were slightly elevated, is it necessary to fast if im only getting a hepatic panel done? I want to be sure to have everything in normal range this time cause im antsy to start my next cycle!

if you don't mind me askin, what were your liver values? i have recently had some bloodwork done and had some elivated alt/ast levels. as far as the fasting, i would go ahead and do it regardless to make sure. thanks bro
