i know its a bit early to be thinking about it but i dont really watch any other sport, unless its like a playoff game.dose anyone think we could get a league going on this forum? i think that would be cool as hell. im not sure how it would work but id be awsome if we could do the whole thing through this site.

You can do it through Invalid Link Removed and have an online draft. It costs about $130 bucks, but if you've got 10 teams that's only $13 each team.
 
We got a baseball fantasy league going right now through Yahoo. I'm sure when it comes time, we can get a football league going too. Deo, you up for it?
 
I've never played fantasy football but I'd be willing to give it a shot. I doubt I'll like it as much as Fantasy Baseball tho.
 
A guy set one up last year on Yahoo and several board members played. It was free. I played, but didn't enjoy it as much as my other leagues. This one was too big. It was 18 or 20 teams and the starting lineup requirements were huge. So, just to fill your roster, you had to draft scrubs after the first few rounds. Then, after the season started and injuries began occurring, there was absolutely NO players available to pick up. Getting a league going here will be fun, let's just make sure it's limited to a max of 14 - 16 teams and the starting lineup requirements aren't too huge (something like; qb, rb, rb, wr, wr, wr/te, k, def). That way it may stay competitive for the entire season. jmho

I will set one up but I even think 14-16 teams is to much. I say we cap it at 12 teams, and if we have more who want to play we could do 2 seperate leagues.

Any progress? Anyone wanting to set-up a league. Yahoo is free. I'd like a live draft.
 
2 ten team leagues would be nice,,,,12 teamers are cool too but 12 max........whos down to set this up? Are we playing for fun or some $$$? either way I am down for whatever bring it!
 
I'm already getting in on a pay league - not interested in being in another. I can't be spending over $25 on damn fantasy sports.
 
I will set one league up Tuesday or Wednesday, and when/if it fills up then someone should start a second.
 
OK if we do it through yahoo sports, the only available times to draft are really crappy, like 10am. The best time still available is Tuesday & Wednesday next week at 5pm.
