Just curious if there's any benefit to applying Exotherm to the midsection to perhaps get some spot reducing effects for the abs/love handles from the stearoyl vanillylamide? Thanks for any info.

You may experience SOME localized spot reducing effects, but overall absorption of Exotherm will be hindered if applied there...likely resulting in less overall effects over time.
Cirsium and spot reduction:
Body fat mass reduction and up-regulation of uncoupling protein by novel lipolysis-promoting plant extract.
Mori S1, Satou M, Kanazawa S, Yoshizuka N, Hase T, Tokimitsu I, Takema Y, Nishizawa Y, Yada T.
Also, Stearoyl vanillylamide has specifically been shown to reduce abdominal fat levels (so that is a plus for you).
