a gallon of milk, 3-4 servings of whey, a quart of cottage cheese, about 5-6 cups of lentils, protein fortified whole wheat pasta and ground flax/sunflower seeds... The 97% lean beef I eat each day is about 36g of pro, I eat it for the micronutrients and flavor.
that is a lot of dairy dude, your might as well be a vegatarian. Have you noticed an inferior quality of gains while on this diet compared to if your ever had more meaty diet in the past?
Here's a breakfast idea. Learned it from a Ronnie Coleman video.
Buy a box of those instant grits (microwave) that have the different flavors (and plain). Cook up 3 packets (2 plain and 1 flavored...I love the "Real Butter") in a big bowl using fat-free milk. Put in a slice of low-fat cheese and cook another 30 secs to 1 min.
Cook up about a cup and a half of egg whites and mix it all into the grits.
Eats like a feast. I have it almost everyday.
You get more than 70g of carbs, and over 60g of protein with only couple grams of fat.
Ya'know... just when I think I got this nutrition thing down, somebody has to come along and just **** ALL OVER my fucking menu! :rasp: Ex, you eat like my damn hippie ex girlfriend, save for the fact that you eat thrice as much. And you've got, what, 100 pounds on me? WTF!?
I mean, the tuna = mercury thing; OK, I can deal with that. Just replace my tuna with some more canned chicken from costco... except that costco meat is probably about as low-quality as you can get. Guess that stack of 85% lean patties I got there is suspect as well. :frustrate GODDAMMIT!
And you expect me to eat VEGGIES!? I'm a bodybuilder, dammit! I don't need no stinkin' veggies! If I gotta take a dump, well, that's what the shop-vac is for.
Curse you Ex! You ruined my blissful ignorance! CURSE YOUUUUUU!!!
:saw:
*cough*
So, uh... how bout postin' up a typical bulkin' menu there, Ex? Your adoring fan base would be much obliged.
