excessive bleeding at inject spot

Ok guys,

Not to worried about this but just wanna ask to make sure....

I was shooting in my quads which I always do its my favorite spot, and there was no pain or abnormality but when I removed the point I bled for like 5-6 seconds enough to cover my hand in blood as i was trying to put pressure on it, then as fast as it was bleeding it just stopped. There was no pain, i did pull back and made sure i was not in a vein.. I am thinking i may of hit a vein going down or up and thats why it bled... im not sure... today it feels fine, there is a nice little red bruise, which is actually more to the right of the actual injection site. Like I said no pain, main concern is that somehow the gear could of been pushed out with the blood, is that even possible? may be a stupid question idk.

what happened in your guys opinions?

Where is the alcohol wipe?

Remove pin, apply alcohol wipe with direct pressure on the injection site.
 
I always aspirate, and I use my kids baby wipes after. Soon as I pulled out syringe it started bleeding fast, threw me off. After applying baby wipe for a second it stopped, but first few seconds threw me off...I know I may of nicked a vain or something, and my hand didnt smell like gear so I dont think any came out. Just wondering your guys opinions....
 
i bet you nicked a vein, its happened to me lots of times. One time i pulled the pin out, started to bleed and didnt stop for about 10hrs. that fa king had me thinking i was really in trouble.....big time
 
lol, I pinned delts one time, done it a hundred times, felt fine going in, as soon as I pulled the needle out blood literally shot out and across the room, it was NUTS!

But it didn't feel different after that than any other inject.

Do you use alcohol wipes to clean the top of your vial and wipe injection site prior to injection? Then use it after to apply pressure at injection site and wipe clean after. Safe and Sterile.

That's crazy, lol! Same **** kinda happened to my buddy.

I always shower and then directly after do my shot, I honestly don't wipe top of vial but I probably should.
