Evomuse Defuse in Off season?

Hey guys,

i am wondering if i can take defuse by evomuse in the offseason with my 2 biggest meals?
i thought about 2 caps 30min before each meal.
Reason is to prevent fat gain.
Or is this counterproductive? I do not think defuse stops the absorption of any macros, correct?
What are your thoughts?
Thanks!

Perfectly fine, it just frees any of the fatty acids instead of them being stored, so basically it makes it easier to burn off and prevents it from storing, miracle supplement tbh. I always used it in off season

How big are these meals?

And from what I remember, Matt mentioned he wouldn't recommend running this daily for an extended period of time. I would use it prior to very high caloric meals/cheat meals in the offseason.

I'd go with Slintensity for every day use.

This. Unless something has changed. Evomuse was only designed for big cheats, not everyday use. booneman77 may have, or still be, playing around with dosing 1-2 caps daily but I can't remember.

Huh i used it everyday for a month... Didn't know that lol

I've read the write up, however I don't see Matt saying he doesn't recommend daily use in there! Mind quoting?

Its somewhere in the thread, or in one of the defuse threads.

Have an eight day cruise coming up. I already use a GDA, would anyone recommend this for the whole cruise?

hey guys,

Meals arent that big.
~110g Carbs and 70g Protein, small amounts of fat (~8g)

I prefered Defuse because it has no berberine. I experiment with high dosages of Forskolin right now (up to 150mg 99% forsk)
thats why i did not use another gda (i have glycophase at home for times when i dont use forskolin)

so here's the lowdown (per matt, his research, as well as some personal experimentation)...

OG recommendation per matt - use only with large cheat meals, and only sporadically, or in short bursts (such as a few day vacation (like the cruise mentioned above), or holidays (a large meal or two once or twice in a week or so). His original research showed that at full dose (4 caps with at least one meal per day) the effects became lessened and then actually became an issue with inhibition of fat gain after a max of 3 weeks of regular, full dose use. The reason was that the MOA that some of the items uses begins to have a more lasting effect on the absorption of certain things which began causing negative effects and thus created issues with longer term use that would actually lead to (for lack of a better term) a "relapse" of sorts.

I can say that I've personally used this for an 8 day cruise (all you can eat/drink) and even with full 4 cap doses 3x/day, I still gained a ton of weight, much of which was not good... for a cheat meal, or few holiday splurges, this is stellar. Even for a few sporadic meals on a vacation it will work wonders... for an all day every day binge, theres nothing that helps that ha. I gained 28lb in 8 days (obviously not all fat but you get the point)...

Page 6 of the defuse writeup has most of the good comments of length of use: Invalid Link Removed

The next thought (per matt as well, and one I've tried personally as well) - You could dose this daily and for a much longer term (4+ weeks) if you are using a much lower dose. This would be something like a max of 3-4 caps per day total and you would never take more than 2 with any meal. Only dose with your largest meal or two (I did 1 cap with my first, lower carb meal and 2 with my next). The thought here was that with the lower dose, there would not be as drastic of inhibition of the pathways and therefore the tolerance/buildup/eventual complete inhibition would not occur. This protocol was intended more as a fat loss aid, and not a fat gain inhibitor like you would normally use defuse for.

When I ran this protocol (6 weeks or so I believe), I really didn't see any additional fat loss. I did experience some additional bloating though which was really the only difference I saw. Weight loss did occur, but nothing that couldn't be contributed to diet. The proposed "drastic" results never occurred for myself or any of the other low dose loggers (and we were using this with ketoinduce as well). For a cost:benefit, there are other, better options that don't have any of the rebound or potential long term use issues that defuse could have.

In short:
one off or occasional cheat meals - great use
short term (<10days) binge/cheat mitigation - good use (paired with some reasonable level of control)
long term (>2weeks) full dose - not good. potentially negative effects after this time
long term (>2 weeks) low dose - ok, but not really cost effective

Pick up Slintensity.

Huh?
some time ago there were several discussions were ppl mentioned that you shouldnt take forskolin and berberine together/ to close together because
of some interactions (something to do with cAmp?)

IIRC that was only in relation to taking them both right around a workout and not at/with a meal

so its OK to take Berberine and Forskolin lets say 2 hours apart?

Too close together.

I'd shoot for 5-6 hours apart if you have to dose both.
No issue with those two anytime

If trying to maximize cAMP effects (fat burning) via Forskolin then you do not want to be using Berberine.
