I'm New On This So Forgive Me If I'm Not In The Right Spot. Here Goes- Do Anti-aromatase Compounds Such As Havoc/epistane And 6-oxo Block Estrone? Or Is The Aromatase Enzyme Different Between Estrone And Estradiol? If It Is Different Is There Anything O.t.c. To Specifically Prevent Androstenedione From Aromatizing Into Estrone?

Havoc/Epistane are said to block estrogen receptors, not aromatase activity. 6-oxo will act upon aromatase as a suicide inhibitor (attaches to aromatase enzyme so that a more "active" steroid cannot), and can actually aromatize itself into estrone (6-oxo is actually 6-oxo-androstenedione, or aka androstenetrione, as -oxo is the same as -one). I do not believe it is so much the aromatase enzyme, but more the structure of the steroid being aromatized that determines whether you get estradiol or estrone. (I'm too tired to get into the relevance of the 3-ketone and aromatization...)

Hope this helps.
