Estrogen help

I'm a 19 year old male. I've been grossly over weight most of my life, at my heaviest I weighed 295 but now I am down to 235 and I am going to cut down to 200. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to use a OTC AI like finaflex revolution pct to block estrogen and to increase test slightly.

Do you have blood work to confirm elevated estrogen? If not first confirm it before shooting blindly in the dark.
Excess bodyfat will increase aromatase activity and convert more T into E.

Check: Estradiol (E2), LH and FSH, Total and Free Testosterone, DHT and SHBG.

Other testing which is recommended is Thyroid: TSH, Free T3 and Free T4, IGF-1 to gauge your GH levels and DHEA Sulfate.

I've was prescribed 88mcg synthroid I'll be going back in for adjustments soon so I'll get the rest of those checked.

Synthroid is mostly garbage, natural dessicated thyroid is superior because it contains T4, T3, T2, T1 and calcitonin all the hormones your thyroid produces vs just one. What we're your thyroid levels? has your doctor checked thyroid antibodies?

Most overweight ppl have high estrogen. To the op, it won't hurt but living a healthy lifestyle and continue with what your doing is way more important. Save your money for now and don't just try to loose weight by cardio(assuming) building muscle also burns fat. Short rest between sets and high intensity is a better solution

Getting proper blood work is key especially considering he was 300 pounds. He could have an underlying thyroid disorder. It happened to me chronic hypothyroidism from undiagnosed hashimoto's and only properly treated when i found the right medication i was 20 (no help from any doctor mind you). Laundry list of symptoms...

I've kept most of my strength. I used to be able to squat 600 now I can squat 530. Bench used to be 335 now it's 325. Dead was 515 now it's 465. So I've kept most of my muscle I think at least. I've naturally been very strong then I started training and my family friend is a collegiate strength coach and he's helped me through it all. *I've never done any sort of anabolic.

If those numbers are legit and strict then your doing just fine my man, I've been lifting for 15 years and only my deadlift is on par with yours

Not to sound like a ******* but I'll take some extra fat for a 600lb squat. Stop worrying about your looks, from what I gather that's the problem. At those numbers and at 19 years old you could be a world class powerlifter one day. Lift n get bigger! Stop worrying about the bull****. I'm 5'9 200lbs 32yr old, 305 bench, 415 squat 487.5 deadlift. I'd love to have your numbers. Work twords your goals but keep on with what your doing

hambone2493 did you make this post because your having troubling symptoms on a daily basis or just wondering about estrogen levels?
