Who's going to pull the biggest weight at this years ESM? My money is on Benedikt. He's just a freak deadlifter.

I'm not familiar with ESM. What kind of deadlift is it, do you know? Standard barbell, tire, other?

As far as I know it's just going to be a standard Olympic bar with Eiko plates. They're going for a straight weight max pull.

He's certainly a contender. But Shaw beat him at max deadlift in 2013. And Benni has hit 1000+ without straps. Neither Shaw or Savickas has done that.

Andy Bolton absolutely blew up 925 in March. Could see a good day out of him.

One of my classmates brother trains at westside, he went to check it out and Shaw was there pulling 900#+ according to him.
