epi/1-t tren recomp log

Trauma, if you're still on board I've got a couple Qs.
Mostly, I'm lookin for your opinion on the way I should finish this run. I don't want to end up 240...so I'm thinkin

1) Finish through week four eating plenty and bulking, minimal cardio.

2) Weeks 5-8(finishing 6wks 1-TT@5pumps e.d./epi @40mgs e.d. through week 8) Lift +30min cardioMWF, 1hr cardio T/TH/SAT, cut cals to ~2300 w/50grams or less carbs everyday through run

3) PCT- keep cardio, bring cals and carbs back up to maintain gains

So more pointedly, how should I begin to implement PP's TRS as far as timing, and should I add AI's post cycle support to PCT? I'm just not sure on timing and dosing. Any advice would be sincerely appreciated!!!

Feel free to give any advice on this guys, I'm up for suggestions!:wave2:
 
your gains are making me want to run 1-tt right now!!!! Im hella jealous.
just one question what is you diet look like for a adding lean mass???

My back pumps have been non existant to minimal, although I dont dead lift while on Ph's. I did in the beginning, but its' not worth the discomfort. Bananas and taurine, should help you. Early on in my cycle, I posted about severe back pumps while at work and Trauma suggested adding Gatorade to help out.

This is from a write-up i did a while back:

-Taurine: Taurine is an amino sulfonic acid that is found in high levels in the skeletal and heart muscles of humans, as well as in white blood cells, and the central nervous system. Taurine aids the movement of potassium, sodium, calcium, and magnesium in and out of cells and thus helps generate nerve impulses. Muscle pumps/cramping occurs when there is a disruption of the movement of these electrolytes in and out of muscle cells. See below for a more detailed explanation of the pathway. Dosing: (5-6) grams/daily can be taken to help limit excessive muscle pumps/cramping that may occur. I recommend dosing both pre(3 grams)/post(3 grams)workout.

-Fluid/electrolyte intake: It is also very important that you keep your fluid and electrolyte(sodium,potassium,c alcium,magnesium) intake very sufficient throughout the day. Fluid/electrolyte loss through training depletes interstitial fluids(basically the fluid that lies outside of the cells)which also attributes to muscle pump/cramping issues, and here's how:

Painful muscle pumps/cramps occur due to loss of the osmotically active particles(mainly NaCL or salt) outside the cell within the interstitial spaces. This causes a disturbance in the osmotic balance(pull) of fluid moving in and out of muscle cells. This then results in muscle cells excessively swelling(because they contain more osmotically active particles and fluid)and you develop very painful pumps. This process can also lead to problems with the calcium pump inside muscle cells. This will cause VERY painful cramps due to the muscle being locked in a contractive state. This is why adequate fluid and electrolye intake during training is very important to maintain this balance and prevent these issues.

Honestly, it's turned into kinda a dirty bulk...not a ton of cals though, just not the cleanest food sources. I'm somewhere around 2500-3000 cals a day with about 150-250g of carbs and between 150-200g of protein(not really supposed to be above 150, my kidneys spill protein). I'll finish the next week with a similar diet, then shooting to finsh the 2nd half of the cycle with a 4 week cut under 50g of carbs a day with lots of cardio. It will be interesting, I'm actually hoping to maintain about the same weight I take into the cut and just lose fat...we'll see!

What do you have planned for PCT? I'm going to add AI's Post cycle support to the TRS, just not sure how to time and dose it?

I am taking the day off, stomach is messed up! No appetite. Maybe an extra rest day will be good, legs still sore.
 
So for PCT just the PP TRS? This cycle looks fun as hell, nice work.

I think I will add AI's PCS to the TRS, just not sure how to dose it yet!

As far as Aminos, I usually have 2-3 servings of probolic a day, it seems to have all the aminos i need. (Legs are sore from scuba diving this weekend, mostly the groin!)

234.2 this am. Stomach still not stellar, but the show must go on! I'll report back this evening on the session.
 
Day 23 cont.

So the lift was pretty strong today, did deads, subbed leg exts for squats. Pump is still awesome, gains in deads, rows, WG pulls, DB military press, and curls! What can I say, the strength is awesome. Stomach was still off tonight, I'll watch and see if nothing changes, I may have to investigate further! Curiously, if I don't eat, I have no issuses with the belly...and quite honestly, i'm not all that hungry the last week...
 
Day 25
231.8 this a.m.
Back up over 10lbs +! Got some food in yesterday! Lift today, hell ya! It should be noted, that in spite of the rather huge swing in weight, my strength has still went up!
 
Day 25 cont.
I didn't see any strength gains today, perhaps just a bit wore down yet from the last lift day. I rolled through multiple added sets though, just can't leave the gym once I start! lol! I'm eating extra trying to force my way back near 235 heading into next week, then start leaning out the bulk for the last 4 weeks of the cycle!
 
Day 27
234.2 this a.m. I feel like i'm swellin up again!
I lifted a bit lighter today, I'll be poundin one out heavy and hard on monday, then takin a few days off to go camping with the fam. Hopefully the rest will reignite the strength gains.
After this trip i'll be cutting for the last 3.5weeks. My hope is to stay above 230 with a cut look and up the cals headin into PCT...I guess i'm trying to do the impossible (gain muscle, lose fat within the same cycle) we will see how it goes!

Note: I've been having problems with an aching lower back, I layed off of deads today, so we'll see what happens. Curiously enough, it seems to be most sore on non lifting days.
 
Day 28
236.2 this a.m. Not bad for four weeks! I'd say that the majority of the weight gain is lean.
I had 2 bloody noses today, but checked the BP, it's at 120/60...systolic is maybe 5 pts high for me so I'm thinking it's just coincidence...we will see.
 
that is awesome bro, great gains so far...Im really interested to see how your "cut cycle" works out for you. Might be something worth trying in the future.
 
Day 29

Added Toco 8 to the mix this mornin, I'm half way through the run with four weeks left, then into PCT.

I made gains again today on several lifts! I stuck with the one set to failure, and it gave a great pump! I'm off for the next 3 days and hope to grow a bit more before the cut starts on friday!
 
Day 35
237 this a.m.

Alright, so here's the long and short of the week. Monday (day 29) did the usual full body HIT, good session. Went camping with the family for the remainder of the week, no lifting all recovery time(body was pretty busted up). On the up side, I think I actually grew a bit with the rest, feel much fuller, on the downside, I miss the gym and ended up waiting til tomorrow to start the cut.
Sides this week, I had another bloody nose on day 32. Also, I ran short on cycle support while camping and had to half dose it for about 36 hrs, upon arriving home, I discovered that my order of C.S. hadn't arrived yet, fortunately I had some hawthorn berry and milk thistle left in the cupboard, increased my omega-3s and should have the order in by day 38. Blood pressure is in check and al else seems fine.
As I mentioned, the trip forced me to push off the cut portion of the cycle til tomorrow, that leaves me 3weeks to clean up and trim! (1 more week 1-TT/3 more weeks epi 40mgs ED)
 
Fellas, what r your thoughts on the cut, should I completely eliminate carbs for 3wks, or limit it to under 50grams/day and only morning consumption?
 
going from lets say 400g of carbs a day to 50 is a huge differance. when i started my cut i did body weight in carbs. that includes all veggies and trace carbs so i ate a cup of dry oatmeal in the morning and then my lrg surving of carbs after i worked out. and the carbs after i worked out were all fast carbs like vertigo or gatorade... and i did 30 min cardio in morning befor meal one if possible. but i dont know if you have the abbility to do that.

my advice would be to cut carbs down to body weight in carbs up protien to 2-2.5 grams per body weight and cut fat to only diateray fat and EFAs

thats my opinion i hope it helps...

I appreciate that! Bodyweight would be about 235g/day..That seems a bit high to me, however, if i'm not going to go the ketosis route, and i'm adding a significant amount cardio(30-60 mins/day of intervals) that may be exactly what i need! I think i'll play with it a bit these first 3 days and see what happens. :thanks:

Had a good session again today, strength went up on several lifts!!
I consumed ~85g of carbs today, but think I may change it to about 150 on lift days, 100 on non lift days...not entirely sure yet!
I did 2 15min light intesity interval sessions on the bike, and will do 30 min on treadmill when I'm done logging!

As a side note, I mentioned at the beginning of the log that i was somewhere around 16% bf. Evidently i was mistaken!!! I had the nice lady at the gym give me the nine spot caliper test today and she said i was at 9.4%! I told her she had to be wrong, she recalculated and assured me that it was actually 9.7%, and she's been doing it for awhile! lol! I'm pretty happy with that and told her that I'd lower it in 3weeks, she said it's not possible, so now we have a bet that I can disprove her!!!
 
Consumed ~150g of carbs today, and the day got away from me a bit, only 15mins light cardio on the treadmill. I think I'll try to stick about 150/day with the carbs and see what this week does.

Update to supps...I decided to add 50g/day of hdrol for the last 3weeks to shore up the lean! Started yesterday, so far, so good!
 
Day 38 Cont.
Had an excellent lift session today, made gains on 5 lifts! Did 20 mins of intervals on the bike, consumed about 250gms of carbs, non after 2:30 p.m. Also did about an hour and a half of diving. Strength seems to be well intacted for the early phase of carb reduction!
 
Day 39
232 this a.m.
Off day, but got about 2 hrs of diving in. Over did the carbs today, about 350!!
Should be interesting lifts tomorrow, day 5 of adding H-drol.
