Ephedra ban is back?

I know there was a thread for this in the News section, but I think it's important enough to be here to. Planetary Nutrition was nice enough to send an email to their customers. I did a search on google news and found little. Anyone else hear anything about the ban being reinstated?
 
Curious about this too. Suddenly BN stopped selling their ephedrine/ephedra products as of June 31.
 
I think it was and still is a possibility of it being banned which is why retailers are trying to sell their stock.
