Elastin, a topic I don’t know enough about

Are there treatments, drugs, etc which can increase epidermal elastin content? And I don’t mean bunk, I mean our way. The real way. Chemical extractives, injections, etc.

My wife has a few friends that work for some skin centers locally due to her job, and they are unanimous on the thought that tretinoin (retin a) doesn't work at all for this and there really isn't anything that does. It's awesome for drying out skin though, lol. There are some peptides they have been trying, but apparently nothing is that effective.

I guess this is the answer I was looking for.

Obviously if there were a thing that worked we would have less wrinkly old ****ers and Botox would be obsolete.
