This is very true, its damn near impossible to eat 4-5K calories of freakin broccoli and chicken breast

It's probably best to eat what you can clean, and then make up the difference in more dirty foods....that have high protein content. That way, you avoid too many simple carbs/sugar and instead get larger amounts of fat, since fat and protein go hand in hand with many foods (beef, eggs, milk, nuts, etc.). To be honest? I feel that dirty carbs and clean carbs are the same fcking difference....they all get mixed up in your stomach with fiber and protein and whatever when they are being digested and that blunts the effect of simple carbs. I am usually careful taking in simple carbs and sugar by itself....since that can cause the unwanted effects. In a nutshell, keep it high protein and divvy up the carbs and fat for the remainder....don't be afraid to eat higher fat, its good for you....just be sure to get enough good fats in addition to the other fats you take in. And don't be afraid of simple carbs either, provided you eat them in conjunction with the other macros.
