I am looking to add some DSMO to a topical 5% spironolactone. The compound has : water, aloe vera gel, stearic acid, cetyl alcohol, alkyl octanoate, mineral oil, dimethicone, tocopherol acetate, magnesium aluminum silicate, sorbitol, disodium EDTA, methylparaben, propylparaben, dimethlydimethyl hydantoin. my questions are this

One: are there any penitration enhancers in here?

Two: Can i mix DSMO into it and not blow my selfup or burn my skin?

Three: I am thinking about .5% DSMO, i just want it to get into the scalp not into the blood(if any). What do you guys think. is it doable?
 
Nope the DMSO will getoit into the blood stream. With that you want it to stay in the SC. The DMSO will take it right through.. There are PE's in there. The mineral oil... Aloe gel...Steric acid... Hope that helps.. Talk to ya..
 
Not to sure but strong PE's usually go through the SC... Thats what there designed for... Sorry for the no help.. hehehe. Talk to ya.....
