Drewsicle3210 gets some much needed sleep with FinaFlex G8

Strange strange.

Sometimes not even the best sleep aid in the known universe can get you to sleep if your mind is in overdrive.

Let's stay away from any type of extra stuff tonight and see how it goes drew. Also get those electrolytes in like wasme suggested and try to do so before it's time to get in bed so you aren't up all night using the bathroom.

interesting..
I had me a night of "sleep" (rather lack thereof) myself the other night, same as you describe here, staring at ceiling for hours on end, maybe 30-45min sleep total at best

I honestly cannot remember if I took G8 or not however, as I been sporadic with that since I been sleeping all over the place and not in my own home ..
been crazy times this way

You know, It could have been lots of stuff. The strange part is that I have been tired and sick, so I would have expected to sleep good. Too much on the brain.

Ok guys, the Christmas stress has resolved. The kids are happy, the wife is happy, and I am still sick.
But, I need to get back on the horse.
I am taking my G8 tonight, planning on sleeping good. In the morning I will push myself to slay some weights.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!

You also, bro.

Get some rest. I know you could use the relaxation; especially before the move.

I only took 1/2 scoop of G8 last night. And I slept great!
No dreams, no waking up at all except the fact that I went to sleep in my room, and when I woke up my 5 year old was in my bed and I was in her bed.
Not quite sure how that happened. My wife said that she came in and laid next to me, and a bit later I got up and walked out.

On to tonight, going to bump it up to 3/4 scoop.

LOL... now that is a deep sleep

Last night I downed my 3/4 scoop of G8, and I didn't go to bed right away. Something clicked in my head, maybe a calmness, I don't know. But I felt GOOD, and motivated. And I got some work done. I packed the workout room/office, and most of the toy room. 2 hours later, I went to bed.

Slept amazingly well. No wake ups, no sleepwalking. I did, however, have some dreams. I dreamed that we went to a hotel/get-together/something with a lot of people that were waiting on something. The people there were all rich and snooty and were eyeballing us. And my 2 year old had a black eye (she bangs her head every hour on something) and my 5 year old had bruises all over her knees (she falls a lot). The people there were whispering and eyeballing. CRAZY DREAM.
But, it has meaning. And that meaning is:
Every time we go out to eat and I am in my military uniform, somehow my 2 year old is sporting a contusion on her head, or a lump, or a black eye. And most times we go to pay our check and someone has already payed the bill.
I am sure that they are being grateful for my service, but I sometimes ponder whether they feel sorry for us or feel bad for the kids or whatever.

Don't judge me. ;)

Sticking with 3/4 scoop again tonight.

Hmmm. Gets me, as I also feel sorry for your kids. Wait, wut?
I kid, bromeo.

Weird dreams for real. Arty least you didn't wake up screaming in terror :)

I am quite sure people cover your bill for the mere fact that you 'fight for your country'. Got nothing to do with your children. Enough said.

Ha! My girls are spoiled. Rotten. And they are happy. That is all that matters. Well, that and my G8.

Yeah, no terrors here. I never really had scary dreams, and I have yet to find a horror 'flik' that makes me cringe. I just have weird dreams. Weird.

I agree, but as a parent, in today's sue EVERYONE society, I get paranoid.

(McDonalds coffee is too hot)

Wet dreams for real.

this guy..

drew we seem to be kinda following each other in circles..had me a dream (bit different from yours) last night, these crazy deformed dogs were trying to maul my legs <picture the dogs on the serum in the first "Hulk" movie of the 2000s w/ eric bana>..
I woke up as I kicked these things right in their grills -- and my cat who was cuddled up with my legs got nailed, looked up at me like "dude what the hell is your issue?"
I patted him on his head and said sorry man, rolled back over to go back to sleep, cat soon laid back down and cuddled with my leg again
he's such a forgiving guy

Nice. At least I'm not the only one losing his mind in dreams.

No big dreams last night, actually I don't remember any at all. Another great night of sleep though.
I had a ton of energy today, and got a lot done. I think I was annoying my wife a bit with all of my running around and staying busy. But, we are running a tight schedule. We sign the lease on our rental in 4 days, then we have about 5 days to totally vacate our house and clean it for out tenants.
I am grateful for my G8 sleep, because I wouldn't be making it otherwise.

Still sticking with 3/4 scoop tonight, it seems to be my sweet spot.

Moving is always a stressful time. And if this is your home you own and our renting out while you move up to Michigan, I am quite sure that comes with it's own set of worries, etc.

Good thing you have some G8 to allow you some peace when you get to bed.

I am going to have to put this log on hold until the 7th. Our tenants will be moved in on the 6th, and we have until then to vacate our house.
And I have no time to do much of anything, except clean, pack, and take care of the kids

AND...
Got all moved, and our tenants are in.
We still have to unpack at the new digs, but that will be this weekend. Need some R&R from boxes. Took today as a rest my whole body pain and mind break, and I will be executing 1/2 scoop of my beloved G8.
I need the sleep, and I just unpacked all of my supps a bit ago.

I am back brothers and sisters, and I am going to be going HARD.

Update coming after my G8 rest tonight.

moving sucks
that is all

Agreed. I vow at this moment to never, ever, ever, be too prideful to do it all myself.

....

I will finish school and make enough money to pay someone to do it!!

Seriously though, moving sucks. Not as bad when you aren't moving out of a home that someone is going to be renting from you. BOOOOOOO!!! But it still sucks. Let's you know just how out of shape you are, even when you can dead 400+, lifting and maneuvering this kind of weight can stress some underused muscle groups.
I do have an idea of what body parts need some work in the gym (and which ones need some muscle relaxers ;) )

Glad that part is over!

Boom.... out go the lights

And it was done.

I slept like 10 bricks, maybe 12.
No dreams, no pee breaks.
And I was so mellowed out this morning that I woke up in a good mood, which is rare.
I felt better this morning than I have in a couple of weeks.
Had a great workout session at noon, during lunch break, and i am still going strong.
Good times with the ole G8!

I got my internet turned on last night, so away we go.

I have been having some health issues lately, and having been so busy with the other stuff going on, I have increased my fluids a bit. My body keeps cramping all over the place for no apparent reason.

Here is where I am at:

-Elevated liver enzymes and monocytes
-Decreased Hemoglobin and Hematocrit
-White stool
-Upper Right Quadrant Abdominal pain x 7-8 months.

My doc is trying to rule out Gall Bladder issues. If the Ultrasound doesn't show anything then we will be running a malignancy panel.

Wednesday night there was no G8. We had to be into work about midnight to help cover the Foot March.

Friday-
3/4 scoop of G8 down the hatch at about 2100 Thursday night.

Went right down as soon as I got in bed.
I do remember dreaming, but I don't remember what it was about.

These nights sweats are starting to get on my nerves. Soaking my pillows, blanket, sheets, and boxers. It's been going on for many months now.

are you taking a PH/steroid? your list of maladies sounds an awful lot like being on-cycle -- including the night sweats, which (tho a few different potential causes) are also a sign of elevated hormones

No PH or steroid at this time.
I ran something several months ago though.
The night sweats have been around for maybe 8 months, and the abdominal pain about the same.
I have a hormone panel being drawn by my endo on the 16th. So I guess we'll see what that is about.

I was wondering if you were on something that you hadn't told us all about as well (ph as Steve mentioned). That is a scary sounding list.

I had my gall bladder out 5 years ago. I was basically told that my extremely rapid weight loss wreaked havoc parts of my internals - gall bladder being one of them, as while in a maintenance phase I had several severe attacks. After about 3 of them I went to emerge and had tests done - both liver/blood tests yielded the same results you are referring to. In fact I was asked if it was taking any form of steroid because my liver/blood values were pretty bad. 2 weeks later, gall bladder out and all returned to normal. Hopefully this is all it will be. Recovery from gall bladder surgery is a walk in the park.

Hopefully it isn't the ole gall bladder.

I didn't take G8 Sat night or Sun night due to scheduling conflicts.

Going to be taking my dose here in about 30.

Monday night took a scoop of the ole G8, knocked me the heck out.
I am dreading the end of this tub.
No dreams that night. Woke up feeling pretty damn good.

Tuesday night same thing, 1 scoop, no dreams. I did feel like el ****to this morning though. I didn't sleep well at all.

So many if you know I have been battling the ETOH demon these past few months. Well today I received my white chip for remaining sober for 24 hours. That is kind of deceitful because I have gone days and even a week without drinking this past couple of months. But I just started AA on Monday, and I am going to hit it from this angle.

Something has to give.

You know what mean??

Good job.

Find a sponsor.

Best cure for the end of that tub, is to order a new one!

I am happy to hear that you joined AA. I remember a while back you started dealing with your 'demons'. You have done well, and now taking the next step in the right direction. Like Montana said, get a sponsor it can only help you beat this for good! Good luck Andrew.

Drewsicle3210 has been getting some much needed sleep with FinaFlex G8.

I have been rolling with 3/4 scoop, respectively. That seems to be plenty.
I have been having some awful coughing fits at night, and only while lying down. My 2 year old seems to have the same issue, but obviously much worse than I do. Seems we have the same Virus or whatever.

I have maybe 3-4 servings left of the tub. So Sun-Wednesday.

I will get the Final Review started and post it up upon completion.

I will definitely be purchasing this again, and soon. I had some last summer and I loved it. Great product.
