Dr increased TRT doseage.

Hello, almost a year ago I started TRT, 100mg a week, my initial lab showed under 200 for total T. It went up hight and then balanced out at 624. I got my year checkup labs done and T back down to 124. So Doc upped dosage to 120mg weekly.
I just have a hard time understanding why it would drop so low again while on trt, it had only been 4 days since my last 100mg injection..
Any ways just wondering if this has happened to others?
 
That is very strange. Are you doing bloodwork with exact same protocol as your other bloodwork?
 
Similar thing happened to me. I've been on TRT for a year at 45 mg E3.5. Last bloodwork surprised me with my TT and FT dropping and the doctor increasing my dosage.
 
Same protocol, blood work taken 4-5 days after last injection..
I still have yet to hear why I have low T at 36.. Pituitary showed no issues, my tyroid has a node but my blood levels for lhyroid I been told are okay..
I had a ultra sound on the testicles, said they looked fine.. just one of those things where I'm baffled, and wish I knew why?

Exact same here man! We simply do not produce enough is what I'm going with. Really no other explanation. I started when I was 33 and am 35 now
 
I had a similar issue after being on Test E for about 18 months. I switched to Test Cyp and my levels went back to normal for my dosage. Now I alternate the esters. I don't know why but supposedly the body adapts to clearing the specific ester.
 
This is a very interesting topic because mine actually have gone up over the latest year. TRT is a constant learning experience. I love it because, in the end, we are responsible for our own hormone management.
 
What other blood work was done other than the total and maybe free test levels? There are a host of things to balance where the T can get lost on pathways. Was SHBG checked? Free T?

I theorize sometimes too that when the first check is done after starting TRT that perhaps the body isnt shut down yet and you get your natty plus the exogenous hormone. A year later you are shut down big time. Just a thought?
