Let's do some math:
Hamas says 77k killed, Israel agrees more or less. Hamas gives 0 account of who was Hamas or what people died from.
5k people per year due from natural causes. 5 x 3 = 15,000.
77k - 15k = 62k
Israel says around 30k Hamas were killed.
62k - 30k = 32k
Of those, around 10k are women, and 20k are 'kids'.
The average age in Gaza is 18-19.5. Read that again. Hamas has a very limited pool of mature adults to recruit, so the recruit as you as 13 to be fighters (and younger still as non-fighters). So of course, a large number of teens between 13 and 18 were killed, but does Hamas label those killed with guns in their hands Hamas? No. Everyone is labeled as a simple civilian, whether they died fighting, of old age, in childbirth, or anything else. They blame Israel for every death.
