It's usually translated in English as don't kill or 'thou I shalt not kill'. In reality, it says don't murder. Murder is unjustified; killing can be justified, so killing is not the term used. Murder is. It's very specific for a reason.
The commandment is not against killing, it's against unjustified killing. The Torah states a principle: If someone comes to kill you, rise and kill him first.
Happy to clear that up for you. The killing in Gaza is not murder, it's not indiscriminate, and it's not unjustified. The killing Hamas did on Oct 7 was murder, indiscriminate, and it was unjustified. Palestinians broke the commend, Jews did not.

Honestly lately I've started wondering why we need cops.
I've always had a great deal of respect for them. but sometimes as a libertarian I think about certain laws that are enforced and think why? And then I think about home protection. "call the cops" yeah ok, they'll be there in 25 minutes. by then your family is already ded. humans need to accept accountability for our protection and well being and not ask others for it.

Im very "pro cop" and of course I judge each as an individual. I really just dont like the system that has been handed down to them and most of them vote for Repulsivkin or Democrap anyways so if I have any issues with cops is that they prop up the system as a voter. And also of course, Im the most 2nd Amendment person you will ever meet, let us by tanks and attack choppers and have pistols in vending machines haha
What I most defnintly dont support is the "national security state" and "police state" which is completely unconstitutional and a direct attack to our personal liberties. Other than that I want and support police, local, county, state, sherrif, etc.....National police forces a big no no.
If that makes sense, I want them to embrace liberty not tyranny

two of my best friends are former retired cops. But tell me what I need a cop for? generally speaking all cops do is write you a ticket for going too fast on your way to work to pay taxes to pay their income. they aren't going to save your life in an emergency, ever. They will impede upon your rights to enforce a communist dicatorship law though. they will raid your house for growing plants a politician has deemed illegal. They will come after you for adding to society. if you get high on fenty and take a **** on the street in san fran they wont' do anything. if someone is stabbing you, they wont' get there in time. what do they do that is helpful in your life? I am starting to think that supporting cops is just more propaganda but right wing propaganda, which generally speaking I am very conservative, but I do not need police in my life. my life is ruled by scripture. Get rid of cops and give ever citizen a gun on their 18th birthday when they register to vote.
Sometimes I watch Tombstone and I cringe because its one of the greatest movies ever but the entire plot is about gun control.
