Ive met a handful of white girls in my life who were raped and the rapist never got in trouble.

If me and my black (in before improper grammar) friend bought a medium french fry and mcdonalds and somehow I got 3 more fries than my friend, you will say I profited from my white privileged.

We can look at any country and see people get off for stupid reasons. But I’ll tell you right now, on everything in my life that’s important to me, I’ve seen more African American males get off easy by prosecutors than not. It’s all because no one wants to “look racist” instead of just doing what’s right.

And for the record that Stanford kid should have been locked up for a long time.

Ok, great example. So "White Privilege" is being able to rape a girl and get away with it. And equality would mean that blacks can do the same and enjoy the same privileges as whites. And since we have previously incarcerated blacks for lesser crimes, we should somehow make it easier to rape women for black men. And if we make laws to force women toward areas where black men can rape them, that would be justice?

I am glad you are out there looking out for everyone's well being. I would have never got there on my own.

I always thought that NO ONE, regardless of their skin color should get away with rape, and I was under the impression that the world is imperfect and unfortunately black, white, Asian, Indian people all, at times, get away with rape. I thought the getting away with rape was unjust, not the fact that black people cannot do it. You are right, I need to work on my critical thinking. Back to Facebook for some learning.

Girls being forced to married old af men and having babies before they even grow breasts.

Homeless boys being raped because they’re easy prey when the wife is too tired to satisfy her husband.

Getting killed for your sexuality.

many laotians, cambodians and south vietnamese were hung out to dry after US government pulled out of vietnam---some of those immigrated to phillipines and i heard their stories while i was there, not something as a American i was very proud of....but believe it or not, those people still loved the USA.

Yes, we do. And you know what? Sometimes I feel like we have more pride being naturalized citizens than the actual citizens of America. We were all choking back tears when we swore to love America!

Until you are fleeing a communist country in the middle of the night with bullets flying past your head and only a bag of rice on your back, you have no idea what injustice and oppression is. We know our parents stories, that’s why we try so damn hard with the opportunities America has given us. If we didn’t, it would all be for nothing.

So I’m still feeling absolutely nothing adverse from my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Injection site soreness is improving as well. I’m already well on my way toward passing the 48hr period when I would potentially be dealing with some mild symptoms of an immune response. I’m actually rather pleasantly surprised that I don’t have any symptoms. (y)

In case anyone hasn’t looked up the Pfizer vaccination and how it differs from those yet to come:

Pfizer/BioNTech: (95% effective): uses lipid nanoparticles to transport mRNA to our cells to induce spike proteins to elicit an immune response. 2 injections- 21 days apart

Moderna: (94% effective): may be 100% effective at preventing severe illness, but that comes at a cost of having greater chances of side effects from the immune response. The technology is the same as Pfizer, yet the 2 injections are administered 28 days apart.

AstraZeneca: (70% effective) uses a weakened adenovirus containing genetic instructions to induce the production of protein spikes and the resulting immune response. Also 2 injections- 28 days apart.

Johnson & Johnson: (efficacy not yet determined) uses the same technology/approach as the AstraZeneca vaccine, but only requires 1 injection.

All things considered, I’m liking the Pfizer option best at this time. Obviously it was also the only and first available at the time, but it seems as though the Moderna vaccine will be more widely distributed as early as next week.

If your threshold for oppression has to be a comparison to a third world country, then you have been failed.

Because newsflash, those situations suck, but that doesn't mean that people should tolerate anything else. Otherwise wtf is the point of this thread? You're arguing over a president you can democratically elect. Some countries don't get that privilege.

So maybe everyone else should just say stop whinging about voter fraud and liberals because in other countries you dont even get a damn vote.
