The only Filipino food I will touch is chicken adobo and sinigang. Everything else... blah. Filipinos like this Maggi dipping sauce, it’s like grayish/ brown.

We have pork sinigang at least once a week. Adobo is a staple as well. One thing about Filipino food is that it can go from being very good to very bad depending on how and who cooked it. My wife cooks good. When I go to PI I usually end up losing weight because I am not impressed with a lot of the restaurants or cooks there. I have the mentality of not wasting calories on food I don’t like.

damn, the women in zambales province were cooking up a storm, and the restaurants outside subic were really good...my filipino wife had relatives in manila and knew the good places to eat, i loved the food in PI....it just took a minute to get used to rice as my only starch. but in the province everyone had at least 1 pig and a chicken coop, and fresh milkfish on the charcoals, the fresh food was fantastic.

I won’t eat the pork sinigang. I usually tell them to make it with shrimp. We have something similar to adobo, it’s more of a sweet pork/chicken.

Where are you from? Ethnically speaking not current location.

I’m Hmong. I was born in the refugee camp of Thailand. Part of why I appreciate America so much and the opportunity it’s given me!

So I was trying to support and be patriotic AF from Grunt Style but their shipping sucks balls. Has anyone ordered from them before?

How long have you been in the US? Also, congrats on what you’ve accomplished and being so patriotic and conservative!!

Thank you! Mom was pregnant with me when they were fleeing the communist war and they couldn’t come until I was born. I’ve been here since I was 3 months, but everything I do is to repay my parents back for the sacrifices they’ve made. Trust me when I say I don’t feel sorry for myself or our struggles. We are living the American dream! ♀️

That is so awesome!

living proof that America is what you make it to be!!!

It’s a shame our very own are trying their best to model this country after the very places people have to risk life and limb to flee from. It’s unimaginable.

Yes, it’s super sad. I volunteer for World Relief (helping refugees resettle in America), and their stories are so heartbreaking, but they are so grateful for the opportunity to have a better life.

Soooo... people who think they’re oppress can fcuk all the way off. Try living in a refugee camp for an average of 17 years.

Americans don’t truly know suffering. Our poor people are fat and have new phones and a 500 dollar a month smoking habit.

Have you ever gone to the grocery store at the beginning of the month and watch someone spend $500 dollars worth of food stamps on sh*t?

I disagree. Sometimes I think some of these TDS whiteys who took over the BLM movement somehow have it far worse than the slave miners of ancient Rome.

I used to work in a convenience store many years ago and this couple with few kids would come in and buy $100 in cigarettes and beer with cash and then pay for some $25 worth in ice cream, potatoe chips and soda in a separate transaction with food stamps. Its freaking ridiculous. Oh, they were sure to pick up some scratch offs too while they were at it.

I remember once a city not far from me a gas station was tagged in an investigation, they would give druggies some $70 cash or something for $100 in food stamp transactions and they would just get high. Its crazy how long this went on for.

Yes, a lot of stores get busted for this in CA. When I used to work at a grocery store, this gas station owner would come in and buy tons of 2 liter sodas with his food stamps.

My one coworker use to sell her food stamps to my other coworker. They would go into the store together, each have a cart of crap, and pass the card to each other. I avoid the stores from the 1-15th.

I tried, I really did, to play the middle and not fall into the craziness of what his insane followers are doing and saying. Anyone honestly wanting this piece of **** and his corrupt, disgusting family and everyone that supports them is a degenerate. This country is so nasty because of him and it’s embarrassing to live here right now. He’s mentally sick and so is anyone trying to find ways to back him. Disclaimer: I’m not a doctor, just a normal human that sees what is happening.
What’s hysterical about this post is I don’t even know which candidate your talking about 😂😂😂

Just watched Dopey Dump's CCP-Virus announcement from yesterday from the NBC feed....Dump makes his remarks and then starts getting into how he cant say what happens in the future but "this administration wont go into a lockdown, the cure cant be worse than the problem" then the rest of his entire speech gets cut off until other people come out to the podium.

And libtards dont see the rig job???? They obviously do, they beg for censorship and authoritarians ruling the lives of everybody.

9:40 he announces that his administration wont go into a lockdown and its shortly after that they completely cut him off.

Well, yeah, and it wouldn't be quite so effective if it wasn't also the rallying cry of someone trying to save your life as well. That is what makes it so sinister.

Yep! There was a grocery store in the hood that hired us to work off-duty there for security. You can get a specific amount of cash back on an EBT card. So they would come in and buy groceries and get cash back. Then walk over to the liquor store to buy a bottle. Working the system!

Yeah, they sure did! That’s disgraceful! It would have neen nice to hear what else he had to say.
Also ridiculous!

when i 1st went to PI in early 80's i couldn't believe how poor the people were...but at the same time they were the nicest/happiest people i had ever met---i fell in love with the filipino people, all of them!!!

there would be a young kid with 1 leg and a strap around his neck where he carried a tray selling cigarettes, and living on the street...and i swear on all i have that this kid always had a smile on his face...and even with the arrogance of many american GI's flashing money and looking down on filipinos for their poverty, there was little to no crime!!!

whiny assed Americans bitching about how rough they have it should have to watch videos of those kids in canoes under shyt river bridge diving for pesos Americans threw into the water as they crossed from subic onto magsaysay drive back in the 80's....and they didn't call it shyt river for nothing.

and none of them resorted to stealing

Speaking of these as*holes. Someone just used my card at a Walmart. Then tried to use it again for a penny but I had locked it as soon as I got the alert. These fu*kers really don’t give a sh*t who they affect.

Not at all. I hate a thief more than anything!

You don’t mean rioters and looters do you? They’re just taking what they’re entitled to!
well, yes they are included in my most wanted list...but i was refering to people who just like to destroy other peoples things for no reason....for example when i lived in indy there was a really nice spot at garfield park called sunken gardens, it had three fountains with colored lights that looked really cool at night, it was a spot that many people from out of town had on the list of things to see....it had walkway down the middle that had marble benches that had been there for over 50 years...one night some assholes decided to take sledgehammers and break every damned bench right in the middle---the park department replaced those historic benches with cheap wooden ones, last time i was in indy the sonsofbeatches had broke the wooden benches---this really truly pissed me the f*ck off.

google pic 'sunken gardens-garfield park' still a beautiful place just now no benches.

I’d like to bash their heads with a sledgehammer for doing that. Yeah that pisses me off too man
