Donald Trump running for president

A bunch of Republicrats signed off on the un-Safe Act, and Republicrats on paper are generally anti-gun. They pretend to be pro-2A.

I learned a new term the other day. FUDD. A typical Republicrat is a FUDD.

If you support the 2A go Gold.
scotus is final say on gun rights and republicans nominate those who are at least on paper pro-gun rights. democrats on the other hand....

Man, I am never going to get any work done today - good talk....

I'm not a defender of laws - I'm actually advocating that laws and regulations are created when people don't take responsibilities and I don't want more laws and regulations, I want more responsibilities (they go hand-in-hand with freedoms).

For instance, you have a gun, I have a gun. Great. All for that. We shouldn't have laws limiting our rights to defend ourselves. I am for that.

But if everyone who had a gun just walked around in public firing their weapon without taking any responsibility - we would have a major problem. Those people SHOULD be arrested and dealt with. The more people who do that, the bigger the problem becomes, the more the government will try to combat it - and the more regulations/laws we will have. I don't want that. Now, you're right, I'm basically saying it would be nice if people just weren't stupid and that isn't realistic. So there is going to be a balance and that balance should be struck by people who advocate for laws, and people who fight against laws and for personal responsibility (you and me).

And, since you are a libertarian - my basic summation of libertarianism, which actually is what I believe conservatism really stands for - is that individuals rights should basically only be limited when their actions impose on the rights of another person.
So, are you a property owner? Do you drink water from your tap? Should your neighbor be able to start blasting loud music at 5 AM or back up his truck with horns at 5 AM? Should he be able to contaminate your property with oil and transmission fluid because he's trying to make a buck fixing cars? Should he be able to pile junk all over his yard and devalue your property? Sure, great, he can do whatever, but those consequences effect other people and he should be responsible for them.

And fully private property should be different than commercial enterprises because you are inviting the public into your property. For instance, do you have a ramp on the front of your house so that handicapped people can get in? No. Because if you want someone who is handicapped to be in your house you will be responsible for that. But should you be able to prevent that person from coming into your store and buying things you offer to everyone else, for your own enrichment, by not placing a ramp there? Probably not.

And if you work on your car, or your friends car, fine. The amount of fluids being put in the ground are probably harmless. But if you're doing 30-40 cars a month and storing 55 gallon drums of oil, etc. - the impact is a little different.

And as you so rightly point out, it's a cost of doing business. These actions create a cost, and the businesses should pay for those costs in some way - not put it on others. If it costs more to find a spot that doesn't pollute the drinking water, or an area that is allowed so that you only have the potential of contamination among other similar uses where it can be better managed, then you go to those locations and bear that cost - whether it be in the form of money or convenience, etc.

If you can't afford to do that, then you can't run the business. You don't get to subsidize your business at the cost of others ....unless you are a liberal.
imagine if you bought an expensive condo and the guy next door decided to open a convenience store, good luck finding a parking place, lol.

i am a firm believer in capitalism, but i think the past provided us with ample examples of why there needs to be regulations---facebook, twitter, amazon and google are todays examples, imo.

Yeah, I think reasonable people understand that SOME regulation/balance is needed. The real issue is that you give an inch and they take a foot. It becomes very hard to keep it under control and you often do need an almost all or nothing approach to keep it balanced on both ends.

i am going to admit that sometimes i think MORE regulation is needed....some of these huge companies have too much control for my liking.

I gotta crap to do to, running late lol I appreciate your time with all your posts including ones not directly involved with me. They are always thoughtful and educating.

I can say I can get along with people like you than most of the liberals around me, lol!

You do make fair points, I have hardcore views but am pragmatic when it really comes down to it. I actually do always wear a mask and I dont go to movie theaters. My gym is very safe, its regulated to 33 people but usually only 7 or 8 are there. If it was 33 I think Id go back to my basement gym. Just saying, Im a pro-active guy dont take me the wrong way I want this virus thing to go away myself. I do concern myself if there ever will be a new normal and I really dont think government will ever relinquish all their new micromanaging powers.

I actually relate myself as a Political Atheist. I have no true loyalty to any party, they all can go different directions and by nature are corruptable. Personally, I am for abolishing party politics in the political system, but yeah sure I cant enforce that people have a right to organize. I only joined the Libertarian Party this year so I can involve myself in the L Primaries, NY was having its first ever L Primary as its a growing movement here. For the time being Im running with the Gold Party, there is a group of people I like. Jo Jorgensen was ok, she is not my favorite nor was she the one I signed up the party to support.

What you say about property and public rights, there is always a fair case that I would sign up for. Im big on State Rights and it should always be done on a local level so we always have the security of the Federal Government coming in if and when the States start trampling our rights. No oil on property? Where do I sign up for that? State and local regulations for the win. Federal Government sit back and do nothing most of the time. People can always freely move to another state if theirs is too aggressive. That works best imo....or should I say least worse????

i am going to admit that sometimes i think MORE regulation is needed....some of these huge companies have too much control for my liking.

These regulations are done with politicians and lobby, you end up with regulations mostly written with the lobby that on paper appear to oppress the corporation but ultimately many times yank out the smaller guy eliminating competition favoring the corporation that will swallow everybody up.

A clear example of this can be seen in farming.

Lobby is just legalized bribery.

The Scotus will be nothing but a disappointment when it comes to 2A rights. I truly dont like any of them at all.

you're fired, lol.

LOL :) If I ran for government, I dont think Id make it to the election. You might find me on the side of the highway or in a river, lol.

As Dinox says, there should be so many guns out there that every time government writes a piece of legislation that fear is on the back of their necks. That is what the 2A stands for. Its not for bambi hunting.

at the onset the nazi army was a well oiled machine, but yet even the french resistance was able to give them hell.

BTW if you spent time in the Mises Institute you would realize there is a big difference between typical conservatives and libertarians in regards to policies.

Your just a conservative that leans towards libertarian ideals but your leanings will probably always fall the opposite direction of real libertarians. That’s why it’s not fair to make blanket statements that the “libertarian party shouldn’t exist” because real people in the liberty movement truly aren’t and will never be represented by big government republican conservatives.

That doesn’t mean there aren’t both conservative and liberal leaning people within the L party so maybe we discover you fit in that, I dunno.

I have a question ....first I do think your regulations you support are fair, but do you in any way support the idea of penalizing people for their productive behavior? So you support the IRS and income tax?

And think about this, perhaps people would be more reluctant to go black market if they weren’t punished for working.

No one likes idiots who ignore warnings that things are bad and getting worse. What's your actual medical experience? What's your experience with the virus? Do you even pay attention to the escalating numbers? Or even pay attention? Or are you locked into your echo chamber? No one is "flailing" or being chicken little. It's QUITE SIMPLE. Wear your f'ing mask. Respect the virus, don't be stupid, and wait for the vaccines to roll out in a few months. Can you people wake up and just pull in the same direction for a while? Your glorious leader is on his way out for thinking he could out fox reality. Really, what IS being asked of you? Wear a mask when out? For a few more months? How horrible. I guess your freedom to be a deutsche is worth 1500+ daily deaths... 45,000 deaths in a month. annualized 540,000 deaths... seems worth it.

No.

Who here works in an ER??? **** is getting real again real fast. Have you ever had the fun of watching someone struggling to breathe, go into respiratory distress, their heart stops, you code them as best you can, and then you pronounce them dead. No? Hmmm... maybe you should think about whether you have opinions worth giving on this subject. I don't lecture other people on their professions or how to do their job, but suddenly every republican is an infectious disease and epidemiology expert...
140,000 new daily cases!!!!! 1450 new dead today! Real people! Real deaths! This **** isn't made up. I'm seeing the death, and I'm seeing the families ravaged by the tragedy.

You know that 500 people die per day in the US from medical malpractice alone? Maybe you should check what your fellow medical professionals are doing instead of spouting off about the covid deaths. Masks are not the damn save all. People that wear masks are still getting it. We’re all going to end up getting it. I work in law enforcement and have 15 coworkers that’s had it. Three of them I was around in very close proximity for an entire day while they were positive and I didn’t get it. How many of us were wearing mask during that time? NONE OF US.

How many of the 1450 people that died from it were healthy people? I would bet that everyone of them were either elderly or had underlying health issues that exacerbated the affects of the virus.

I know it’s real but it isn’t the black plague and we’re all going to get it sooner or later. I sure as hell am not going to hide from it. The shutdown did nothing to stop it and another shutdown won’t stop it either.

In closing, I’m hate 1450 people died from it. Their families are very heartbroken and probably didn’t get to see their loved one before they died, but it still doesn’t change the fact we can’t hide from it. And when the vaccine comes out, guess who won’t be in line to get it.

bill gates has been preaching about over population of the planet for years, saying the earth cannot sustain this amount of people ...those over 55 make up 29% of population yet account for 56% of health care spending-as age goes up so does percentage of total health care cost, with those at highest risk of dying from covid eating up a huge percentage of total healthcare cost...add in those with serious illness and if i put on my tinfoil conspiracy hat-well you do the math.

remember, this is the 1st pandemic in history where young, healthy people seem not to be at risk of dying....i don't know my mind goes to dark places sometimes!!!

Hahaha! And not to mention the bozo Biden is looking at for his covid team thinks life isn’t worth living after 75.

i honestly believe there are many among us who think ridding the earth of elderly/sickly would be a good thing...listening to ocasio-cortez rant about 'boomers' it wouldn't surprise me if she was of this opinion. i think bill gates might be one too if you pay close attention to what he has been preaching over the years.

People like that sicken me. Yeah AOC likes to put a lot of blame on boomers.

if you told her there was a virus that would only kill the sickly/elderly i wonder what she would think...it would free up a tremendous amount of resources for her pet projects-eh?

damn, man...when did you become so anti-america?
That's not true at all. This is an exert from a court transcript outlining that Trumps team are filing lawsuits with no evidence.

The point is to simply highlight that he doesn't have a silver bullet that highlights voter fraud- even his lawyers are acknowledging that on the stand.

How the fuq do you stop spreading a virus at 10:30 PM, LMFAO

Now people need to get everything done beforehand increasing density=fail.
They may be taking Europe's approach which is to impose a curfew to allow virus investigation teams to work at night and isolate clusters.

I dont think they expect to slow the transmission by imposing a curfew, but it will give them a block of time where people should be at home to hopefully test and contain infections, and then allow the rest of the people to go about their normal business in the morning.

Oh I’m sure she would light up like a Christmas tree! She hates what this country actually stands for. Who ever voted her into office should be beaten. She’s an idiot.

I see, so if the gyms have anything that shows someone had a positive it would give buying time to tracking everybody they went that logged in that day. Still not sure how that would work with a gym anyways to any real benefit, people usually go in once in a day. Not sure the benefit is really there with early gym closures, plus your forcing the density to increase in the gyms, it seems there is more to lose than to gain.

Governor Cumho argued that his reasoning for bars/restaurants at least is that the further into the night you and the more people drink the more they start getting lax which makes more sense.

trump is still president and you don't live here...what you are doing is going into someones house and criticizing how they furnish their house and do landscaping...i am sure the lefties welcome it because you are on their side, but that doesn't make it any less rude.

Yeah, I imagine it is just time buy time to track and isolate.

I honestly think that they need to make these things transparent, otherwise it just devolves into people saying "cant catch the virus after 10" type stuff.

I feel like in NZ with our 1PM daily briefings we are told exactly what each measure is for, and they are very open about what they do with the isolation hotels, masks on public transport etc

Transparency is key

this is why i say the left is politicizing the virus...in effect it is eliminating many of the people with opposing viewpoints, and it is what cost trump from winning the election by a landside--in effect the virus has been amazingly good for the left.

The truth is they absolutely have the right to file anything they want without evidence. That is why it is special to be in the USA.

Ultimatly the entire election is going to end up on the hands of Judges. There are checks and balances and its not up to the mainstream news, Twitfart and Facecrack to decide who won or not.

And WTF is "The Office of the President Elect?" LOL He isnt even the President Elect yet and he creates a new branch of government and violates the Logan Act. The dude is Crazy.

Yeah, as much as I dont agree with the policies, Im 100% for the transparency.

Its really complicated here over NZ, running 50 mini-countries its going to be hard for the world to really know what goes on where over here with varieties of handling this, and who holds power and influence in handling the virus.

The Presidential race is the front page of the internet right now. It matters, globally, who is elected President. Just like it will matter who Russia's next President is.

I'm also posting stuff that adds a second side to the story. Otherwise this thread should just be titled "The Left is the Devil".

It's relevant information to the election fraud claim.

believe it or not, but i thought trump was the most transparent president in my lifetime....i was a fan of JFK but he had a ton of secrets, hardly transparent.

I get the bar/drunk and making bad decisions thing. Everything else closing is comical and makes it seem less legitimate.

why don't you go on a russian website and criticize putin then?

I gotta defend him, I actually welcome foreigners coming here making their say and also giving me a rare opportunity to pick their minds.

I get the bar/drunk and making bad decisions thing. Everything else closing is comical and makes it seem less legitimate.

The most comical was at its most hardcore, liquor stores were considered essential and the lottery machines kept running hogging up jam packed grocery store customer service lines at the time.

Its a freaking joke, Government was given a chance at credibility of the virus and they all screwed it up on both sides right from the beginning.

i don't like people coming into my house and saying they don't like the color of the paint on the walls...especially since he lives in a glass house and should be careful throwing rocks.

democrats benefited greatly from the virus, not only are most of the deaths 'boomers' but trump's economy was going to lead him to a landslide.

Part of free speech is allowing to say what hurts others or say things in the most inappropriate times. Of course that allows you to bark back at him :)

I know he isnt protected by our Constitution, but I defend it on a global level too and try to lead by example. Not saying I think illegals have voting rights lol but some things we can lead by example and hope people can pick up how great the USA really is.

he would be wise to not come into my house and start criticizing, lol....freedom of speech or not--not in my house. :p

And after all, we all have had fun poking NZ along the way. I learned a few things I never was aware of before such as their serious issues on minorities including their heavy oppresion of natives and serious discrimination of black people.

i like Jiigzz i always have, he just doesn't understand how passionate we are about the future of our country being in peril under control of democrats...trump is a jerk, but he was the 1st republican in a long time not to back down everytime democrats said racist and he taught/made other republicans to stand up to the threat of name calling from democrats...imo, this is why they hate trump the most, he made republicans grow a backbone after being pussyassed chumps for so long.

they called trump every name in the book and instead of tucking his tail and running like republicans had done for so long, trump said-f*ck you.

that is 100% why democrats hate trump---he made pussyassed republicans man up and stand up to the bullying tacticts of the left---this drove the left f'ing crazy-example, pelosi tearing state of the union address and the 'women' all wearing black-trump had this election wrapped up if it weren't for this damned virus---i repeat, covid saved democrats from disaster, they benefited big time from covid and MSM politicized the hell out of it.

Yeah, as much as I dont agree with the policies, Im 100% for the transparency.

Its really complicated here over NZ, running 50 mini-countries its going to be hard for the world to really know what goes on where over here with varieties of handling this, and who holds power and influence in handling the virus.
I 100% agree. it is complicated for the US compared to NZ. I dont think lockdowns are the answer for you guys. It might *work*, but at a great cost.

I think people know what should be done (limit contact with vulnerable, sanitise, avoid prolonged exposure with large groups etc).

To me it could be managed with accountability and taking some responsibility to do the right thing.

In NZ, lockdowns work because if we can isolate the infected, we can then just manage the border. The quarantine camps, as you call them, ensure any travellers from overseas spend the 14 day incubation period under monitoring and testing before being allowed into the society which is now pretty relaxed and feels almost like pre-covid days.

Obviously that won't work for you guys because of the land borders and large population. Also remember that if 20% of total cases wind up in the ER, slowing the spread helps ER's cope and ensures enough supplies are around.

Even if ultimately everyone gets it, if that happened all in one go hospitals would collapse. You can still try 'flatten the curve'.

Of course they do - but then let's call it what it is, an evidence void lawsuit.

People are acting like he has mountains of evidence and voter fraud is rampant, but so far no evidence has made it in the court room where it could make a difference.

People don't want to see any President or Prime Minister win due to fraud. But unless there is evidence, and I mean more than a YouTube video, Facebook comment or Twitter thread, it's simply allegations.

Maybe it's payback for the impeachment thing
