Donald Trump running for president

Yeah, every single time I post something, badass internet bully goes off on personal attacks. He either has an anger problem just like all the rest of the loonie left Trump haters, or has built up personal issues from his childhood that causes him to act out. Or, he seems to think that a PhD makes him superior to everyone else that doesn't believe the same as him, and that gives him the right to be a bully.

It's ok since I've got thick skin, and I don't let internet douchebags get me upset.
Yep, you are just an innocent victim...

To be honest, poor grammar seems like a really petty thing to be cussing at each other over.

I really don't know why you two even try to talk to each other on here anymore. Y'all really seem to have too much negative history and built-up animosity, I think. It doesn't seem like it ever results in a productive conversation at this point, if it ever did.

I won't ever apologize for calling out liars. This "fake news" bull**** has to stop as it's already gone too far.

Please quote the post that I did what you claim. And what statistics specifically you say I lied about or made up, and your specific response with facts or stats to back up your claim that my post was a lie.

You throwing your anti Trump hate around and spewing off like a pink vagina hat wearing bitch, isn't calling anyone out with facts.

I love how you claim I'm a bully, but post several posts with insults in them. I told you exactly what you lied about. You don't agree with me. Move on. Your attempts to get under my skin is more useless than being too fat to swim.

Acosta/CiaNN and Dump all are just competing propaganda platforms making careers out of attacking the 1st amendment calling out fake news and enemy of the people proclaiming to be the truth, They are both butt dumplings.

Dump can always do better for himself if he showed consistent professionalism, but thats not why people voted for him. He is a trained actor, people forget that, he is good at what he does to fuel up his base evil or not.

His worse trait however is his hypocrisy, the enemy of the people is the unconstitutional swamp and policies he has propped up and expanded.

If Dump wants to be the "friends" of the people he needs to pardon Snowden and Assange right away and prove himself. Thats the big truth test on what Dump is all about, but swampman wants them both assassinated so forgedaboutit.

How is CNN attacking the 1st amendment lol? They wouldn't exist without it. My theory is that Trump wants to push the press until it goes to the courts and eventually makes their way up to the supreme court where he may be getting yet another vote very soon.

Yeah, you're kind of proving my point here.

The dude immediately clarified his intent when you asked. If this happened in any other interaction, with someone you have little or no negative history with, you would not immediately start calling them a liar (or likely any other insult that was levied). It would've been an "Ok, thanks for clarifying" situation, but, instead, because you two have so much prior animosity it turns into this type of situation.

He didn't clarify and continued to ignore the data that didn't fit his argument. I started the questions with "not even saying you're wrong." I gave several chances to admit that it was a mistake or misunderstanding, but he doubled down on it. At that point I know he knows the information he is giving out is incorrect, thus why it's now a lie. Look back at the thread. Or don't. You're asking why we bother, yet here you are. You've slung the exact same personal insults to me that he is now, so what are you trying to accomplish?

CNN does alot of attack pieces on what they claim to be "fake news" especially infowars and similar platforms and discredit competitive alternative press a whole through misrepresentation along with the lobbying (both direct and indirect) to other 3rd party platforms such as youtube and twitter to censor and ban what they claim to be "fake news."

Now, even if this so called "fake news" is in fact fake news, to me all news should be untouched and uncensored protected by the 1st Amendment. Ultimately, I still would support CNN's right to call for whatever they want to all for, thats their right.... and I also support the right for 3rd party platforms to take content down without government interference. Problem is lobby is in bed with government and there are various forms of collusion involved with the press including various unconstitutional policies from Operation Mockingbird up to Obama's expansion of it and who knows what has been expanded during Dump's time (no necessarily directly from him.) There is alot of cooperation and coordination with government and big news agencies such as CNN, MSNBC and FOX in various ways....not to say infowars also isnt, I dunno for sure Im not totally naive.

So anyways I wanna cut that short, but my point is in my very own opinion CNN has no issue attacking the press because in my own books they arent even the press. And lets say my opinion is off and CNN technically is the press, they have no problem regulating the 1st Amendment to their advantage for their own personal gain to route out their competition and control the narrative to their own biases whatever that may be.

Hope that makes sense in some way.

Which midterm am I lying about? 1994 or 2010?

I hear what you're saying. I don't agree that CNN sin't the press, but I get your point. CNN has way too many opinion pieces and very little news, but this idea that everything they post is fake isn't true. As for CNN attacking the 1st amendment rights of other news agencies, they can't by definition. CNN isn't the government. If one news agency investigates the validity of another, that isn't a 1st amendment violation. The same with facebook, twitter, etc. Those are private companies with terms of use language a mile long and they can legally choose who they give a platform to. It might not be right or ethical, but it's not illegal or a 1st amendment violation.

And they all lean toward a political party. Some are less subtle than others like CNN with Obama/Hillary or Fox having Trump on and exchanging employees regularly. Infowars is in Trump's corner whether you want to believe that or not. Just this morning, Sanders tweeted out a doctored video from them to help justify pulling Acosta's press pass Invalid Link Removed

Maybe you should look back on it, bud. You asked where he got his numbers and he immediately stated that he was referring to the 94 midterms and the numbers related to that.

Also, keep in mind, that the comparatively few personal attacks I've levied came in direct response to personal attacks that you levied against me. Don't try to play this game like you aren't an instigator of the pissing contest that this thread has become recently.

My only point was, and still is, that discussions between you two are never real discussions. They are petty pissing contests because you two don't like each other. It isn't valuable to anyone. This is a thread that *could* have valuable, meaningful discussion, but you two are too busy clogging it up with gradeschool nonsense over an additional "s". It is crazy to me that you can't see how absurd that is.

It appears as though Acosta was probably set up. Video sped up (Edited) and there is this screen grab from another angle at the time of a few co-conspirators...

"I did, but you Trump ****s try the same tactics that he does. You make a false claim and then double down on it being true even when it's been pointed out to you as being false or a lie. That doesn't make you clever; it makes you a liar. You're an adult, so learn to write a proper sentence already. That's the funny thing to me. You pro-Russian trolls fight for English to be the official language here, but wouldn't pass the test yourselves."

What if you found evidence of the Press organization lobbying with the government? Doesnt that open the possibilities of government collusion and potentially a 1st Amendment violation? I would have to dig heavily into this and I honestly have some more enjoyable things to do, but you would agree that in that case it would be a Constitutional Violation right? I totally agree as I said before private companies should feel free to censor and saw whatever they want.......then there is collusion within "private" companies which was clearly seen when youtube, apple and google all censored Alex on the same day, when do we call out monopoly and how does our authentic constitution apply to monopolies? You dont have to answer that just food for thought.

Infowars is 100% on Dumps corner, his organization turned into a ball of hypocrisy after Dump took office and I hate it which is why I cant frequent it anymore but he did help me get through the Obama years, lol. Bush and Obama's wars all bad...not Dump is just cleaning up all the wars....year right, Alex is on his knees for Dump, and thats why I bring out potential for direct government collusion on infowars.

When I say "government collusion" by the way, that doesnt necessarily mean I think government is completely monopolized. I always felt as much as I say they mostly are all the same which they are that there still is alot of dirty mob shyt going on multiple fronts.

If you don’t think EVERY news outlet publishes stories that either have either incorrect statistics/statements or even complete fabrications, you’re deluded. I can point to a plethora of examples on both sides, left and right, for years, where the story says one thing, it’s wrong, and they later retract or correct their statement (if they’re feeling nice), but it’s too late, as exponentially more people have already read and shared the original, incorrect story than will read or consider the retraction/correction.

Hard to do when you and YF spend all day clogging it up with whatever schoolyard insults you can think up. Doesn't this forum have a block function? Seriously, just block each other and move on.

TBH, this is why I spend more of my time on Quora. It is much easier to have valuable discussion on that platform without having to waste time trying to wade through 100 posts of nonsense trying to find the few reasonable posts.

No, I wouldn't. Again, I think it's wrong and unethical, but that isn't Congress creating a law against the press. I'm sure it would be enough to start some lawsuits, but isn't a 1st amendment violation.

Even if they are trying to lobby the government, it isn't any 1st Amendment violation until the USG takes action against them. To my knowledge, this has not happened since 1918 (which the SC declared as "constitutional" by the way).

Thats an interesting look at the video...I remember seeing it live and when I saw he put his hand on her arm it didnt make me think it was more than just a flinch which he had a right to do. Even with the doctored video I still dont know what the big deal deal is, she tried to grab the mic and he reacted. Neither was in the wrong imo. I did think Acosta was a dik but more importantly I was extremely unimpressed with his question about the invasion which I thought was a distraction from countless other meaningful issues such as Dump supporting the Saudi invasion and genocide of Yemen. I dont think he should have his pass revoked.

What about when government infiltrates the Press such as instilling CIA agents to spread propaghanda, buying or bullying reporters, would that be considered as "action against them?" Have you heard of Operation Mockingbird? Or when they assassinate press such as Michael Hastings?

As long as they dont shut out anyone independently from being the press I could be fine with that. At least it can be reported and people on their own have to figure it all out. In China just a few years back they passed a law that required a difficult to obtain press pass if you do anything as little as posting news online....if I gave an extreme example.

“The problem of fake news isn’t solved by hoping for a referee but rather because we as participants, we as citizens, we as users of these services help each other. The answer to bad speech is not censorship. The answer to bad speech is more speech. We have to exercise and spread the idea that critical thinking matters now more than ever, given the fact that lies seem to be getting very popular.”

Edward Snowden

I'm just gonna cut to the important part here. This is the text of the 1st:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Unless the Congress passes, and the President signs, a law that abridges the right of the press to publish whatever they want, then they are not violating that right (as written). Publishing propaganda and influencing reporters does not meet that standard.

Those are just the facts of the matter.

Now I think about it, that would probably rule in favor of the people to not regulate government from publishing/infiltrating their propaganda. Then people cant use laws to shut down the press with accusations of infiltrations or shut out former government officials (which in some cases are retired plants) from being a part of the press. It can be easily abused and used agaisnt us. Government can even plant an agent as a set up for shut down, its dangerous. No regulation of press is best regulation.

You won't get an argument against critical thinking from me. Too many people are influenced by meaningless numbers like jobs/unemployment and not interested in long-term fixes. One group of people yelling about the Constitution when it comes to guns will keep their mouths shut or even facilitate the suppression of the press, while the opposite is also true. A group of people will cry about the prospect of immigrants not getting let into our country, but ignore drone strikes taking out innocent families, simply because it happens to be different Presidents giving the order. People are easily manipulated and marketing works for politicians as it does for Coke.

I don't think Acosta should have his pass revoked either, even though I agree he is a 'dik' I support freedom of speech[and press].

there used to be a saying..'even if I don't agree with what you are saying, I will defend your right to say it'.

if it warrants charges for him touching the WH aide that should be a separate matter, or warning given that if he does it again his pass COULD be revoked.

If he got warning it should probably be when your turn is up and your told over and over and over again, and we try to take your mic for the next guy you need to give it up or we have to allow another reporter from your agency to take your place. He is not the only reporter in the room and as much as Dump hates him he always calls him to let him have his say.

If it would have been a dude intern no one would have given a crap.

I know he is a douchebag but I think this is blown out of proportion.

In my opinion Its alot worse when someone goes out to eat and they get harassed in a restaurant. some dude got in my face while I was out with my family I would probably need a bail bondsman.

if the harassment thing continues it is bound to get violent, stuff like that almost always escalates into violence.

I wonder what would have happened if tucker Carlson had been home and armed and shot one of those thugs trying to break down his door?

Or if his wife had taken Uncle Joe Biden's advice and got a shotgun to shoot through the door.

Well since they only knocked on his door and the police report contradicts Tucker, I expect he'd be arrested and there would be a trial.

Arrested for what?

Well the hypothetical from thebigt and yourself was asking what would have happened if Tucker or his wife shot the person knocking on the door through the same door. The arrest depends on the language of the law used in that state and if the person lived or died.

it can be the "We learned absolutely nothing 2020" campaign

I think the NY Governor might run....he raised some 30 million dollars and kept raising money (compared to 1.5 million for his closest competitor) and for what?

He has a strong personality and charismatic (Hitler has his own charisma, not necessarily a positive trait, lol) and alot of financial backing.

If Cuomo becomes president expect the largest expansion in government agencies and projects since the Roosevelt era. And, yes NY is in crazy debt and corruption in our capital Albany is horrible.

Another Dump campaign promise down the shytter when he claimed he will bring peace between Israel and Palestine... biggest escalation since 2014 when that Nobel-Peaceofcrap prize winner Barry Soetoro was in office busy droning masses of children.

I don't think NY or cali dems would do very well in fly over states, but hey I hope they nominate someone from one of those states!!!

because I want dems to lose....

I see where avenatti has been arrested for domestic abuse-can write him off as a potential contender!!!!

Maybe if your real lucky they will elect good ol fruit loop Tim Kaine, he is a real winner!

*Avenatti wasn't charged, and the story from TMZ is not correct. His ex and current wife both say it's not about them as they stated he's never laid a hand on either of them, nor would he. This would appear to be a nice setup much like what happened to Stormy Daniels. So, who filed the complaint? We'll have to wait and see.

I'd also like to know how my spell check new to correct my misspelling of his name... lol.
