So Donald Dump is a ferocious supporter of the Patriot Act which violates the 1st, 4th, and 5th amendments of the Constitution. Dump LOVES the Patriot Act.

So if one considers "America first" and "Constitution first" as the "same thing," wouldn't supporting President Dump who values the US Constitution as much as he values the chocolate on his toilet paper as someone who values America as krap?

Im not saying you dont absolutely dont love your country, Im convinced your a Patriot who does love and put America first which is great to me as I am the same way. However you surely cant consider the US Constitution as the "same thing" when the political philosophy of those who your are supporting are strictly condemned by the Founding Fathers who wrote the US Constitution and Bill of Rights.

If the Founding Fathers were alive to day I am 100% absolutely confident they would put "America First" and take a march to Washington and give their lives to attempt to overthrow President Dump to restore the Constitution.

I call it as I see it, you dont value both of them as the same thing, but rather only value America first, and whatever version of it you can compromise just so some libtards arent running the joint. The Constitution is just there and valued for ceremonial purposes only.
 
susan Collins just gave what was to me a very impressive speech.


Kavanaugh all but guaranteed her he would let stand precedent for roe v wade, and after her listing his prior rulings it seems Kavanaugh is much more moderate than he was made out to be...I hope he doesn't turn out to be like david souter.

Considering the dems hid all of the allegations till after the hearing, he didn't get a choice in the matter. And all the witnesses that were interview didn't add anything to corroborate the allegation.

Its what I wrote earlier, Kananugh’s performance caused lawyers on both sides of the aisle to question his temperament. As shown by his op ed, Kavanaugh himself knows that it had that effect.

If Kavanaugh did not commit the various alleged acts, I feel bad for him. The failure to complete a full investigation ( including interviewing and vetting all of the people provided on the various lists given by the various lawyers) will allow stories to persist about Kavanaugh for the rest of his life. Many book deals ahead for all those people that the fbi did not talk too. They will eventually be heard.
 
This is why I can't stand this style of fighting scene. Well, since years ago with the Gracies. Royce Gracie was a show for sure. The. man. I think it's gone down hill and prefer a more pure Muai Thai Kickboxing. I'm spoiled. My friend trains inner city kids in the arts and it's not this. I'm not going to pretend to know much, so my opinion could be based on some ignorance, but it isn't the same to me.

What do you mean?
MMA is as close to real fight as you can get.
Straight kickboxing is more of an exhibition.
99% of real fights, if evenly matched end on the ground.
Now if two of my homeboys fight, we break it up when they hit the ground and they stand up and go back at it.
That's the difference to me between boxing and MMA.
Pure boxer, pure kick boxer etc get eaten up when they hit the ground.
Those two guys were locked in a room khabib would have broke connors neck!

I want to see style and finesse, and professionalism, not a fist fight over a girl and a beer.
Do you think Bruce Lee would have had an issue picking either out of his teeth after he dismembered them?
Any animal that's mean and vicious enough can grapple... that doesn't mean their deserving of much. It shows in their fans.

Bruce Lee would lose to the female champion in his weight class. I'll quote Joe Rogan on this Ronda Rousey would smash Bruce Lee. That was a movie that was an actor in the movie. It's literally like watching a comedy when you watch Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris fight in a movie

He would find her weakness in about a minute, then exploit it easily. That's what he did to win, every, single, time.
The only thing you could hope for is his desire not to kill her with two fingers.

That's what I'm kind of wondering too I thought it was a great fight. I know a lot of people don't like the ground stuff it's boring to them but that's what real fights are. They end on the ground. But if you're looking for more of a Bruce Lee movie type fight then I guess I can see how it would be boring or undesirable

Bruce Lee was an amazing philosopher, teacher, and businessman. He didn't win every single time.
 
We have no evidence that lee could survive a high level MMA fight in 2018.
He very well would get taken down and choked.
But he did beat Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Bruce Lee was very open to grappling, especially as part of Jeet Kune Do and the Gracies are a huge part of why MMA fights go to the ground. Ground fighting is boring as hell to watch, but I respect the skill needed to do it effectively and it's not about just being "mean and vicious".

Ill stick with Rogan on this.
I just don't see Bruce Lee picking apart any top level MMA contenders.
Also being open to grappling I don't doubt. Years and years of traning on your back he just didn't have.

She might not want to read the new biography that recently came out, Bruce Lee: A Life. It shows him as VERY human and destroys the perfect romance that the movie Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story presented. He was quite talented and innovative, but still just a man.

He was my role model growing up, but in the philosophical sense, rather than fighting.
I admire his life, even stripping away the mystique. Oddly I see her kicking you out, as a dishonor to his memory. Ironic.

I'll give MMA another chance.

It's worth another shot, but not for everybody just like anything. Don't hold it against all of MMA though for anything that happens in UFC. They're the biggest name in MMA, but not the only one. I have a love hate relationship with the UFC like many.
