Aren't you against refugees coming here? Then why also be in favor of making their home country worse to the point that they want to leave? Proximity is a complete bull**** answer to why we punish Cuba, but send money and weapons to Saudi Arabia. Punish one and reward a worse one simply because of distance? That's insane.

How do you have questions about this? Yes, we had air support until Kennedy pulled it. It was a CIA run mission and it was a complete failure.

I know in China there are many people trying to escape....they even have signs on the Mexican border in Chinese these days. Chinese would sneak onto cargo ships, I remember a few years back a Chinese man was found frozen to death after he snuck into the wheel pit of an international flight to the US. There is also smuggling operations by gangs, sometimes it ends up bad including human trafficking. In Tibet it gets far more serious, thousands of Tibetans have to flock over the Himalayan mountains in the freezing cold for weeks with little clothing and food. Often once they reach Dharmasala in India they may have to get a foot or whole leg amputated. Parents actually send their kids off on their own knowing the risks just to give their kids a future...if these kids come across the crosshairs of the PLA Army its likely they may get shot. Its far worse there in some ways than Cuba, but thats accounting for a population of 1.3 billion vs tiny Cuba.

If the US cares about the Cuban people it would end the decades of sanctions that have done nothing but keep Cuban society as a whole impoverished and unable to modernize. Sanctions primarily only hurt citizens while the people on top live like gods. You would have a whole lot less people building rafts if we simply open up and start trading with Cuba and having complete free and open relationship with them. It wont get rid of all their problems, but the was I have seen China progress over the last couple of decades, modernization and strength of the economy will help society as a whole.

Anyone watch the Megyn Kelley hit piece on Alex Jones? I watched the intro before my wife changed the channel. I also saw his release of the pre interview recording transcript from the other day saying she buttered him up and promised it wouldn't be a hit job. She didn't make it 2 sentences before it was obvious.

The issue is the content that you disagree with, not Alex. Having a big debate about Alex is what is illogical to me. If you wanna debate whatever issue that Dump is listening to even if its from Alex, then Im all game, but the prior is pointless to me and a waste of time. You might even find things Alex talked about that I will agree with you on or be neutral as inconclusive. Another issue is you think Alex is infowars when its not, it a culmination of independent reporters and there are other radio hosts and writers that speak/write for themselves such as Paul Joseph Watson or David Knight. did you see where trump just introduced apprentiship training programs---about damn time. at least 50% of college students have no business being there. it makes no sense to spend 4 years at college,run up $40,000 in debt and even if you graduate get a $50,000 job--that is insane!!!
