Donald Trump running for president

From the article I posted:

"Warren, who graduated from the University of Houston in 1970 and got her law degree from Rutgers University in 1976, did not seek to take advantage of affirmative action policies during her education, according documents obtained by the Associated Press and The Boston Globe. On the application to Rutgers Law School she was asked, "Are you interested in applying for admission under the Program for Minority Group Students?'' "No," she replied."

Again I didn't say she used her phony status to GET INTO COLLEGE. She obviously allowed the 2 colleges she worked for continue to make the claim, since there were federal diversity mandates those colleges were under.

The article details that she did not use her status to gain advantage in EITHER capacity. Faculty or student.

Just get to the point, man. What EXACTLY is your issue here? That an institution where she taught listed her as a minority?

Fraudulently did so. Your article details her lack of Native American ancestry.

Fraudulently did so. Your article details her lack of verifiable Native American ancestry.

Fixed. I also have Native American heritage, but it was also passed down through family stories and photographs. I don't look Native American either, but I know my maternal grandmother was fully Native American.

Now I didn't attempt to gain any advantages from this, and if I truly dug deeply into ancestral records, I might be able to prove it. I still likely wouldn't though. There are too many people living on reservations that need the assistance far more than I do. They also present more phenotypically Native American than me too!

Btw before someone gives himself a stroke apes are in no way intended to represent any race religion creed color of skin or ethnicity.

(Oops! I cell phone fingered my post. Didn't mean to close thread)

I feel the exact same way. I more fall into the second camp. I don't feel an excessive amount of "white guilt" as some in this thread have claimed, so much as I want to help level the playing field. If feeling bad that your ancestors owned slaves is a bad thing, I guess you can call me a bad person.

All I can do is try to make the world a better place, while in the process making sure I can help those that truly need help without putting my own family at risk.

my issue isn't if two people are close in every other way, then the coin toss goes to the minority or female...my beef is with quotas, if it is mandatory to have X amount of minorities[including women]in positions of authority, at the cost of not picking the best and brightest[most qualified], then the entire country suffers...excellence should be rewarded, imo!!!

It doesn't make a difference to me. I'm simply asking a question to see where you're coming from because you seem to have an odd relationship with the subject.

I graduated from the school of hard knocks...life knocked me down, but I got back up and kicked it's ass!!!

My question is if women truly make only 76% what men make for the same job, why would anyone ever hire a man? Boom, I just cut 24% off the payroll; do I get a promotion?

I bet Elisabeth Warren will run for president one day....maybe we will have debates between her and that globalist maniac Oprah in the debates 2020. Warren is dangerous when it comes to freedoms and liberties for the people.

you know warren is a fake...otherwise she would have done a rain dance for California years ago, lol.

my wife hates her for lying about being a native American, and taking advantage of affirmative action....

Havent even given Dump a chance yet and already panicking about 2020, lol. Dump better do above expectations or this country will go to trash with Warren leading the new anti-freedom liberal movement.

Until all your female workers get pregnant at the same time (by the same old hairy dude).

Yeah she is fake, and we all know Obama was fake after a the first few months in 2008 after we found out he blatantly lied during is campaign, and then it got much worse and he still got re-elected 4 years later and to this day we have millions of his minions foaming at the mouth waiting for the next to lead them. Damn run on sentences lol.

It won't matter. The American public is reactionary: you can't get most people to do anything before it's too late. Tell somebody they need to lose weight or change their diet and chances are the normal person won't do crap until they have diabetes or a heart attack. Trump may go a full 8 years simply because it's really hard to beat an incumbent President, but people are going to react strongly to him by going further the other way. I saw something recently where American voting habits were described as a pendulum, but I view it as two moron kids playing tetherball. Just back and forth getting increasingly pathetic.

Soooo....without evidence, fake news king CiaNN accuses Dump of lying about Dick Cheney's cousin wiretapping him.

A statement from Barry Soetoro's spokesman is not evidence.

Trying to keep up with you here lol. You're saying that Trump (who has no evidence) is making a claim and CNN is supposed to come up with evidence that something never happened?

Where is the evidence that it did?

The government wiretaps the globe, how is that for evidence?? Anybody can claim what Dump says, he is too simple.

I made a little mistake with my post that missed the point I tried to express in my head. The title of the CNN article has the word "falsely" ("Trump falsely accuses Obama of wiretapping his phone") which I should have included in my post before to clarify my point. They could have just said without presented evidence Dump so and so.......but they cant exactly accuse him of falsely making that accusation especially on the basis from a statement from an Obama spokesman. Of course Obama's people are going to deny it. Many people that read that automatically will go along with that title though, that is a false accusation and all is concluded and done.

Anyways we dont know whats true or not here other than everybody is tapped by the NSA which is a no brainier.

i would like to see those sorry assed protesters do something productive for once....protest and boycott Wendy's and refuse to buy at a robotic kiosk!!!

If the minimum wage goes up to $15, you're going to be seeing a lot more of those. They're preparing, and want to be ahead of the curve.

what if 'we the people' get ahead of them and stage protests and refuse to patronize them?

What? If minimum wage goes up, they're going to be forced to lay off workers, cut hours, etc; automated "employees" would be the only way to maintain, or perhaps improve, service without drastically increasing cost. Either that or increasing the prices of goods/services, as it's incredibly naive to expect companies to take a hit to their profits; they're in business to make money, like it or not. Or are you saying protest increasing minimum wage?

You have a point, people can boycott that but I think the average consumer is more worried about how much comes out of their pocket over peoples jobs. They are replacing cashiers at McDonalds here in NY with ordering kiosks here in NY btw.

Everything is going to become robotic....wait until they replace real good paying jobs such as interstate truck drivers, they already have driver-less Semi's just about set to do so.

Perhaps he means it'll push workers to work harder and do their job better if Robo-Cashier is coming to take their job?

Exactly. Similar to my response when people complain about immigrants supposedly stealing their jobs here. If your job can so easily be replaced, maybe try learning another skill and making yourself competitive instead of expecting the world to hand everything to you.

look here, I am a republican, but I don't buy that baloney for a minute...it all started in the 60's when there were more jobs than workers and there was a bidding war for company's to get employees, instead of continuing to raise salary's they got behind the womens rights movement and doubled the workforce hence keeping wages down...then came the 80's and when faced with this problem again they started letting more and more Mexicans in...

I look at it as a us against them situation, and it's time we started to fight back for our jobs and decent pay.

geez, if no one has a job who the hell is going to buy their crap?

So you think a cashier at Wendy's should make $15 an hour? What about his manager who made less than that before? Does he get bumped up to only $15 too, and now he's doing more work and has more responsibility than the cashier, but makes the same amount of money? Or does he get his salary increased proportionally as well? What about his boss? The end result? Inflation, which serves only to devalue any savings you have, while not making the $15 they're making any more valuable than their old wage, if they even have a job anymore. It's simple economics, capitalism really.

Edit: If "we the people" want employees to be paid more, and have more hours, we're going o have to pay a little more for it; if we have a choice between Company A, who sells their product for $100 and pays their employees $15, and Company B, who sells their product for $90 and pays their employees $9, most people will buy from Company B, because it's cheaper. If you want the market, or the people, to demand increased wages, you have to protest with your wallets, even if it means spending a bit more or not getting everything you want; protesting with signs and yelling at them won't do anything when you're still buying their products.

There have been other changes too since then right? More mom and pop shops back then, not as much need to spend extra money per employee for insurance, health care, along with other regulations driving middle/low class businesses out. Whole different world now, big government intervention and lobby certainly contributed as well.

These protesters should be protesting to the ability to earn real money. They should be protesting auditing the Un-Federal Reserve and bringing back the only real Constitutional currency backed by gold and silver. Thats what would help people the most, that comes first.

Almost every other western country has a higher min wage than the US, and we still have a low unemplyment

And what do you propose we do?

See my example I added to my last post:

2nd (or first) the ability to keep the fruits of your labor. I have to add this here....They should protest in support to abolish of the IRS and the 16th Amendment and end slavery. Stop government from practicing these human rights abuses.

the biggest difference I see was teenagers worked for minimum wage jobs to make spending money back then, they were never meant to sustain a family.

When the min wage goes up, spending goes up. You can afford to spend more.

You dont start by getting people to buy pricier items, you start by increasing the min wage. Because in the US its pathetic.

I do know last time I checked there are worse unemployment stats in Europe than here in the US, including countries such as Germany. Also they steal more of peoples money through income tax.

The whole idea of even putting a price on a hour is ridiculous. It takes out incentives to be productive. I would boycott hourly wages as a whole. Best jobs Ive had were non-union payed for the quantity type....people worked their ass off and had their pockets full compared to the same job that payed hourly and was union (cable company.)

You spend more because you have to, the price of everything goes up. Eventually in a matter of short time your back on the same boat.

The key is to create real jobs.
