Donald Trump running for president

It seems to me that youngandfree thinks Trump is awesome.
Most of us do agree that both candidates are shady and untrustworthy, which is why I don't see a point in mentioning that Clinton is also bad every time someone criticizes Trump; just like when someone criticizes Obama it doesn't mean that they support Bush.

Not sure I've ever seen youngandfree criticize Trump.

In 2016 we sit at #3 whereas the US sits at number 11.

:D

Honest question here. If you were doing your taxes and saw that you could legally pay nothing, what would you do? Would you turn it in and pay nothing or are you going to send along a check out of charity? I absolutely hate Trump, but I really don't get why being smart enough to know how a system legally works is a bad thing. To be fair, it's his accountants that are the smart ones and he's just taking credit for it. But if I was doing my taxes and saw that the math led up to zero taxes, I am paying zero taxes.

Trump's not smart. You think he does his own taxes?

And there's a big difference here. If I were rich, I would certainly pay my part. I wouldn't even feel it.

Big difference between the 1% and us!!

So that makes it OK?

He's a fraud and a cheat. He's a piece of scum.

How many times did Trump file bankruptcy and he was accused of circumventing existing bankruptcy laws? When the Feds bailed out the automakers, they deliberately and explicitly defied the laws and allowed the unions to get payed instead of the creditors.

For the record, other companies have filed bankruptcy while owing much more than Trump.

Honestly, maybe I would just not pay anything. Would I then run for President and brag about it? No.

Of course, IMO, you have to screw over a lot of people to make that much money. If you were that corrupt to begin with, what's a bit more?

However, it makes zero sense to make that much money and pay nothing while working folks like us have to pay taxes.

Trump didn't finish well last night after letting Kilary get under his skin.

There, now you can get out your butt hurt creme. For such an educated anthropologist that declares he has to work at not being biased, sure seems to forget that when it comes to people with conservative frame of reference.

HAHA. Guess you needed it first. I do work not to be biased. I don't forget that when it comes to true conservatives. Trump is NOT conservative.

You don't seem to try at all to be non-biased.

Can't handle the truth there, buddy? I was simply stating my observations that you come to the white knight rescue of Trump every time someone criticizes him. I'm glad you can admit that he messed up.

If he let her get under his skin so easily, what will he do on the world stage?

For one, I've never claimed Trump was an actual conservative. But your bias sure comes out everytime someone here "defends and rescues" Trump from the clutches of your liberal rants and arguments against him.

What difference does it make? Many large and wealthy companies have filed bankruptcy for many reasons. Stop acting like Trump is the only guy to ever do it. Most of the time, the end results are the same for those companies. They restructure, lower their debt, and their creditors get screwed. It's called bankruptcy law.

How many women did Trump personally attack and have a smear campaign set up after they were sexually assaulted by him? And we're payed monetary settlements because of said assaults? And then continues to proclaim he has worked to protect women for decades. That's right, that was Kilary. And that's the least egregious and illegal act she has committed.

Are we going into tin foil hat land again?

I've read of a 13 year old being sexually assaulted by Trump.

Source? Some of the things Bill did are very well documented. I'm not aware of anything being nearly as solid/likely/definite for Trump, although I could be wrong. Don't get me wrong, he definitely says some racist/sexist/stupid things, and I can see how he can come off as creepy, but there are a lot of Bill stories. Granted, Bill isn't the one running for President, but the fact that no one is really bringing up any of these things regarding Trump (instead sticking to the less serious/heinous, but still bad, acts of insulting women) leads me to believe that there's either not all that much proof/evidence on these things Trump has been "accused" of, or that Clinton's camp knows it's probably not a good idea to bring up sexual affairs given Bill's history. That's just my initial thoughts on the topic (I didn't go back an re-read it, so hopefully it makes some sense, haha).

Trump was accused by a woman who won't reveal her name and claims that she can't afford an attorney to take her case. If there was any remote possibility of truth, Gloria Allred would have been plastered all over the TV making her outrageous claims.

I could be wrong, but wouldn't there be at least one or two liberal lawyers who would take her case pro bono, if only to help Hillary and keep Trump out of the White House?

And I suppose the Clinton (Hillary, not Bill from what I understand) stuff isn't on TV because of the "liberal media"?

It's not about Bill, it's about Kilary going on a smear campaign to destroy the lives of hose women, or having her minions go out and do it. She's responsible for that. Then she made a campaign statement in the past proclaiming all victims of sexual assault "deserve to be heard and believed". All but Slick Willie's victims that is. I'm not sure why you think there's some tin foil hat conspiracy in dealing with the topic of Bill's assaults and her smear campaign.

I wasn't aware that Hillary had any sexual scandals (and I don't want to even think about it)? I thought that they were all Bill's, and all from a while ago.

It's amusing that you don't ask for proof on his claims.

The Liberal Media invented racism too don'tcha know. We aint gots no racism in this here day an age don'tcha know. Dividers! Heathens! 'Murica!

What claims specifically? There are a lot of things ITT that I simply ignore; if I ask for proof, it means that I have some interest in it, and don't know if it's BS or not. I try to just ignore the BS.

I think I've made it pretty clear that I don't support Trump, and that I think he's shady and wouldn't make a very good President, but I could say the same thing about Hillary, and find that a lot of what both of them say about each other could apply to themselves as well.

And I suppose the Clinton (Hillary, not Bill from what I understand) stuff isn't on TV because of the "liberal media"?

As stated above, the Clinton assault and smear trail of tears had been well documented for a couple decades. Of course there's nothing on TV about any of either Clintin's shady past. Part of that is the fault of liberal media. Just like last night. Leading up to it, Holt said it's not his job to fact check the candidates on what they say, yet he distinctly and pointedly went directly after Trump numerous times. After he asked his generic question, he followed it up with a pointed question to Trump, not to Hilary. One example was his question on race relations. To which he followed up with the birther question, which has ZERO to do with race.

So you're going to have to do better on making an accusation about Trump molesting a 13 year old then "I've read somewhere he did it".

I'll get you some sources later.

Birtherism had nothing to do with race, huh?

I'm glad Lester called out the absolute and total lies of Trump. It needs to happen more often.

I also agree that Hillary should be held accountable when she lies as well.

Can't wait for Anderson Cooper :)

It is never fair. However owning businesses, 'donating' investing and all of that make it easy enough to get away with with a little no how. It doesn't mean he pays no tax - after-all, Mark Zuckerburg would pay next to no income tax given his salary is $1 per year, but he would be taxed on other things.

****ing right I'll blame him for stealing from us and then wanting to be our president. You think a thief like him is going to want to change that? Lolz

Not paying income taxes or finding ways to get back whats stolen from you by the private Federal Reserve and their rebel army in not stealing from us, but keeping what belongs to you.

Shyt Im really behind this thread, lol

A few people I know who watched the debate, who know absolutely nothing about politics or who Lester is, said they thought that he favored Clinton and was tougher on Trump (just telling you what I heard from some less politically aware/educated people).

Honestly, pretty much everything that they both said in the debate was BS. Didn't it turn out that Hillary DID say that say that the TPP was the "gold standard," and not that she "hoped it would be the gold standard?" Why wasn't that fact checked by Lester? His assertion that Trump supported the war in Iraq is also not quite so cut and dry as it was made out to be either.

The private Fed Reserve steals TRILLIONS of our currency, and they are un-auditable, but Trump is the problem.

Agreed. He was right about the birther stuff, though.

I agree he should have called her out as well. Although it seems like Trump was just saying a bunch of lies the whole debate.

I have no issues with calling out lies but that is not the moderator job. The mediatiors jobs is to ask questions, prevent interruptions, and keep crowd quiet. He did a piss poor job at it. Same with pretty much all the mediators of the last 4 elections(could be more but i wasnt really capable of know because i was to young). So far as long as i can remember we get 3 liberal and 1 conservative with the liberal moderator be the most biased. With that said im very very very amazed how bush won a second term especially with how sh!t his first term was. Then again obama got elected twice too. I guess we like electing dumb fuks, that would explain these 2 canidents.

She knowingly defended a child rapist and laughed about it on how she knew he was guilty the entire time.

In regards to Bill and the white house, I think Hitleries nick name is "The Enabler" but I dunno for sure how much she approved Bills S&M fetishes and paying more than a handful of out of course rape settlements.

So your glad Holt displayed his direct liberal bias, after he declared he wouldnt. It's no different than the Romney debate with Crawley jumping in to save Obama. The job of the moderator is to somehow at least "appear" unbiased. And when all but 1 of the named moderators are in fact liberal reporters, they are only doing their job to protect Clinton.

She knowingly defended a child rapist and laughed about it on how she knew he was guilty the entire time.

I've heard through underground secret society circles that she eats aborted baby fetuses that Obama sends her to power up her lizard body.

BUT THE DAMN LIBTARD MEDIA WON'T COVER THIS!!!!

Hitlery IS tougher than Trump...that war mongering genocidalist is already proven to wipe out masses of populations including children with her bombs of compassion and show no remorse.

She is vicious.

Then as the esteemed and dedicated anthropologist you are, please explain to the group how questioning a person's birthplace is in fact a racial attack. It's no different than the libs that started about Ted Cruz's dual citizenship. He's technically latino, yet no libs were crying about the racists that brought it up.

Agreed. He was right about the birther stuff, though.

Oh, of course Trump was spitting out a ton of lies (as was Clinton), but if the moderator is going to call him out for his lies, he should at least call her out for hers at an equal rate. I know that he can't (and shouldn't) call out every lie (he'd end up doing more talking than either of them at that point), but if he's not going to call them both out equally, he shouldn't call anyone out at all.

I want to see an edited version of the debate where every lie they both tell is muted; I bet it's 90% silence, with the other 10% being them insulting each other.

Remember when the crowd cheered after a Trump comment, and Holt jumped all over them saying to keep quiet. Yet when people clapped after Hilary said something, Holt let it go. It's menial, but further illustrates his bias.

The Trump applause was much more disruptive IMO.

I did notice that the first time, but it seems like later in the debate he let the crowd cheer for both of them.

ROFL!

This is the first time I ever heard a comment like this about a Presidential debate!

I havent been able to listen to it yet though, but I guess we need to replace the crowd with drones to be fair and not racist.
