Donald Trump running for president

Suppose we just don't turn out to vote this year. Suppose we chose not to choose the lesser of two evils. Suppose voter turnout was at a catastrophic all time low. Do you think they'd care? Do you think they'd get the message? Do you think they'd change a thing?

That's messed up, but I'm sure supporters of every candidate, and people who don't give a flying f**k about politics/candidates, have done much, much, much worse things (not saying that this isn't bad). Now, if Trump comes out and shows his support for this guy, or encourages people to punch people on oxygen, then we have something to talk about. Just my $0.02

Economic analysts are saying that Trump's "economic plans" (if you can call them that) would cost almost 4 million U.S. jobs. The tariffs he has mentioned would actually hurt American workers more than help them.

Also, many people are talking about all of his properties overseas, and how it would be very controversial. Even if his kids run it, as they are physical properties, not investments like stocks/bonds, etc. Hard to separate out conflicts of interest.

Granted the whole Clinton Foundation thing is not without worry either.

So a single isolated person, who happens to support Trump, hit an old lady on oxygen. Yes, that's bad, but, like I said, it's not like Trump endorsed/approved him for his actions, and I'm pretty sure Trump didn't tell people to go around hitting old ladies; if that happened, then we have a real story. I would like to know what the crowd's reaction to this was; if they cheered him or supported him for hitting the lady, then we have a bit more of an actual issue, as that would show that more than one person (at least a few people) supported these actions, otherwise all we have is one idiot being an idiot, and this idiot happened to support Trump. As I've also said, there have been Hillary supporters, Obama supporters, Bush supporters, probably Gary Johnson supporters, and people who couldn't tell you who any of those people are who have done much worse things than hit an old lady. Again, that's just my $0.02 on the "issue."

Yes, Trump lies, but it's ironic that Hillary says that she's transparent, as she's already proven pretty clearly that she's just about the farthest thing from transparent as possible while holding office. Trump says a lot of stupid things and lies, but Clinton has already hid several metric s**t tons of things while holding office.

Yeah I guess literally beating the **** out of teens and old couples, and egging and throwing other things at a random harmless lady isn't all that bad.
One of my friends also tried telling me that one type of assault was worse than another and I told him to go **** himself. There is no "whole new level," it's all wrong and none of it is okay no matter how you look at it.

Didn't say it isn't bad, it just seems to be more of a common occurrence than the other way around.

I've just been searching. If you have some proof, please let me know and I'll gladly take it back.

I saw the egging thing, which was the same event in California where other assaults occurred. The preponderance of what I found pointed to more of Trump's supporters being violent, though. That's from what I've seen.

As I said, the violence is bad no matter which way it goes. I'm not saying violence against Trump supporters is justified at all.

Okay so you as well as the rest of us know all about the San Jose incident, but there has also been these:
Costa Mesa, CA
West Hollywood, CA
Pittsburgh, PA
Chicago, IL: no actual violence, the rally was canceled due to safety concerns for attendees.
Gainesville, VA: no violence, but incessant vandalism, harassment, and hate crimes directed towards a woman who put Trump signs in her yard. Death threats.
Countless more examples of vandalism, hate messages, death threats, etc. that I just don't seem to be seeing any reciprocation from Trump supporters to Hillary supporters.

Not to mention the liberal media, like HuffPo, fueling the fire and even advocating and justifying violence against conservatives.

Okay when a news outlet shamelessly campaigns for Hillary and ignores the ridiculous amount of negative stories about her, and attacks trump and only puts out negative info about him, it is liberal media.
Same goes for a news outlet that stays positive about Trump and negative about Hillary; that's conservatively-biased media.

Thus, I do not fully trust any media source. I try to look at several sources when trying to piece the truth together. Media is bull**** and you just have to sort through it.

The media has given him more free advertising than anything IMO.

He hates them until he wants to rave about the CNN polls or something else that shows him in a good light.

He has not totally funded his own campaign, and has spent far more of donor's money at his own businesses and properties than he needed to. Other locations would have been far cheaper. That's really ethical isn't it?

He is an unethical, lying, zero actual policy having scumbag who seems to have a love affair with Vladimir Putin.

He really has you fooled, huh?

Hitleries murders and genocides over the last few decades have been a far more occurance than some of the violent "sorely uneducated angry white people" that are the primary group that support Trump.

But hey, in this country if you murder someone have have a facebook photo of the Confederate flag, the flag is banned. If you murder someone and have a facebook of the gay pride flag, lets light the white house up in gay pride colors and honor it.

Of course, but look...the big problem is that people are actually voting for Hitlery and Dump and their policies. Not these frivolous issues that have nothing to do with the campaign and are local law enforcement issues and cause a distraction to what really matters.

In one email, current DNC Communications Director Luis Miranda complains about the bad optics that occur when George Soros and the Democrats' union allies don't come through with providing their normal rent-a-protest crowds.

"Going forward, when our allies screw up and don't deliver bodies in time, we either send all our interns out there or we stay away from it … we don't want to own a bad picture," it reads.

The Gay Pride flag represents violence? Because of one guy?

The Confederate flag (remember I live in the South) has had a legacy of hatred, division and racism for over a hundred years. Just because you don't understand or are not offended by it, doesn't mean others aren't.

They're hardly comparable IMO.
