Exactly and that is its purpose. The larger items would cause more tax on the wealthy.

Also bear in mind that necessities are not taxed the same, which in turn assists the lower/middle income earners.

I have looked at other plans, and with my income I get destroyed. Since as a house we earn a "good" living, I see and increase of almost 18% under Hillary. Also, don't forget the 0% corporate tax u dear the libertarians, which will bring business and jobs back.

It's pathetic that people say "the wealthy don't pay their fair share". The CBO has already disproven that.
 
neither Hillary or bill held a job last year...but yet declared earnings topping 10 million!!!

From what I've read, they make a $h1t ton of money from giving speeches. An old company of mine in fact paid them a Mil once during a launch.

I just looked it up, roughly 60% of their income is from speeches. Is this a bad thing? I'm confused

If people want to pay them that, so be it. It's not theft.

They can get payed whatever they want, but when our polititions and in particular one who may be president I wanna know who and what was said in secret.

Holy crap, we agree on something! lol

If people want to pay others that much for a speech, then have at it. How many times are the Kardashians paid a huge amount just to show up somewhere. What about motivational speakers? People make money doing all sorts of things.

I want to see transcripts....it's like math, I want to see how she got to 10 mill? what did she promise in return?

several of the hacked emails show money being given in exchange for access when Hillary was secretary of state...I want to know what promises she made in return for money and backing if she is elected president. I think everyone is aware by now that the Clintons think they are above the law....

geez a Hillary Clinton white house will be a total disaster!!!

I'm talking about giving a talk. If you're talking about access, then that is something completely different. What was promised was a speech. Make no mistake, I am not a fan of Clinton. Her and her war criminal husband can die a slow death, but getting paid a lot for a talk is not a new thing or limited to just one political party.

if you have been following the news, one of the emails describes pay for play access...this is how the Clintons do business!!! I can't imagine a company paying $750,000 just for a 30 minute speech without promises being made.

of course I might be wrong, all she has to do is release transcripts of speeches!!!

They may very well have paid her for access, but companies have wasted money on less. As for the transcripts though; does she have the rights to those? Woudln't those belong to the company that paid for them? I'm asking because I honestly don't know.

Make no mistake, trump is a moronic tool. He is actually showing himself to be HRC's best ally in the campaign. Every time something about her vast corruption comes out...he says something ridiculous.

With that said...she is a corrupt danger. She should not be allowed anywhere near the Oval Office, unless in an orange jumpsuit picking up trash on the front lawn.

I'm usually passive regarding the matters of politics. I tend to be on the extreme perspective of belief in the conspiracy theories of things like the Illuminati, Free Masons and things along the lines of New World Order which in essence leave my vote or position useless and impotent.

Most who are inclined to believe in the pure political system think that these conspiracies are crazy things and dismiss them as tin-foil-hat sort of things. But as time goes buy I see things happen that are completely beyond "the people" to control or influence in any way. I mean, look at this bull****! Hillary is actually a candidate for the office of the POTUS and supported and endorse by the sitting POTUS. This is a blasphemous corrupt country will are being "ruled" by.

You know I do my best to practice intellectual faith with as much intellect as my feeble mind can muster but my heart and spirit is convinced that regardless of one's faith, or lack of, there is something really wrong with this planet and it's systems and the battle against it seems impossible to win.

I don't disagree with this at all. Just think of it differently as someone who is not religious. I don't see it as evil in the context of good/evil, supernatural forces, etc. But from early in man's development, evolution of the ego, birth of civilization, it has been clear that there could be a need for control. Desire for power and control. And the more civilization grew, the greater that need became. So yeah, there is definitely an underlying power that dictates the direction of humanity. And we have little do to about it.

I actually believe it stems from a fundamental belief by those powers that there is no heaven and hell. There is no salvation for humanity. No one is coming to save us from ourselves. That order must be kept. There is the implication of freedom given, the implication of choice, small personal freedoms permitted, an illusion of being informed, the hope of salvation. But there really is none. The cover up is real, it is huge, and those who facilitate the cover up, don't even know they're doing it (media, politician's, religion, etc.)

i won't argue that truth. If indeed it was borrowed then the principle of the scripture I quoted transcends IMHO
 
I won't jump into the biblical discussion as DD and I have been down that road for years. ;)

I am starting to not look at things as conspiracies anymore. More that they are just the "elites" arrogance to do things now right in front of our face with utter disregard.

indeed. I like to believe I've grown from the relationship. I do pride myself in keeping my mind wide open to truth regardless.

I tend to agree with the arrogance. These are not new behaviors but the Information Age and social media have taken away the veil of secrecy that once was.

It does amaze me how our society is still blind and eagerly accepting to what is now right in front of their faces.
 
Couldn't agree more, I have grown as well.

I am a amazed at the arrogance and self righteousness that seems to have taken hold. Add in the constant me first attitude, it's mind blowing. Both Trump and HRC are brilliant examples of that.

This is where my thinking is. I think a lot of conspiracies give these people too much credit. They're not that intelligent or creative. It's just great marketing and bullying.

I actually deleted that last comment, but DD quoted before I could LOL. Didn't want to turn it into a straight biblical discussion as that never goes anywhere good. But since it has been quoted, I do believe that it plays into the whole thing enormously. And I'll leave it at that.
