So does that mean that anyone who votes for either Clinton or Trump is "the worst kind of person there is," or just people who vote for Trump? Again, I don't support Trump, but I REALLY don't support Clinton either. Neither is fit to be POTUS, but if "offending a lot of people" is the worst thing you can say about a candidate (not even actually racist actions or discrimination, just stupid offensive comments), is he really worse than Clinton?

What made me want him in is not being clinton. Trust me if there was ANY other option i would vote for them.

If someone will go stand in line, take the time out of their day to cast a vote for someone who has been undeniably offending and lying his way to get the uneducated vote then yes, that is the worst kind of person that there is. I think you are smart enough understand his dog whistle politics that are on full display at any of his rallies. But this thread is gonna be a circle jerk of trump fans and I'm sure the word "hitlery" will be used 100000000 more times from the ones who only support trump because Hillary has them terrified. I didn't vote for her in my states election and won't in the general but I damn sure won't vote for trump either.

That didn't answer my question. I said that Clinton's morals/ethics are also lacking (in addition to Trump's), and you respond by talking about Trump's ethics again. Lets take Trump out of the equation for a second; now, tell me, can that same "starter pack" not be applied to Clinton as well? Since you say voting for Trump to avoid Clinton isn't justifiable, the same argument can be, and often is, made by people who say they're voting for Clinton to avoid voting for Trump.

Basically, the "not voting for Trump Starter Pack" is really the "not voting for Trump or Clinton" starter pack. Johnson 2016!

Yo this is the trump thread lol and my original statement wasn't about why people should vote for Clinton, it was that people who vote for trump are the worst(not worse than Clinton voters it's basically the same, they just seem to be more hateful,racist and bigoted that's all) like I said before I wont vote for Clinton and I won't vote for trump. Trump is the worst, I mean look at the dudes Twitter lol, yup give him the nuclear codes, seems like a good idea.

I know it's the "Trump" thread, but it's devolved (evolved?) into the Election 2016, general politics, and even random nonsense thread if we're being honest. My issue isn't with you saying that Trump is terrible, it' that you saying that anyone who votes for Trump is "the worst kind of person," since Clinton is really at least equally as terrible of an option for POTUS. Plenty of people who are voting for Trump are really voting against Clinton, and really don't agree with a lot of Trump's stances, and think (know) that he's a racist idiot, but they'd rather have a "racist idiot" than a "criminal who is already above the law."

I just wish that everyone who said they don't want to vote for Clinton OR Trump would actually vote for a third party (Johnson) instead of just voting for "the lesser of two evils" or not voting at all. It's likely it would take time for a third party to actually win an election, but just a decent showing in a major election would really do a lot to advance third parties and help them stand a chance to actually be taken seriously (speak at major debates) and hold office one day.
 
Also, as much as Trump has demonstrated that he's an idiot (he has said a lot of racist and sexist things), has he ever abused his position of authority to have sexual relations with an intern? I just find it rather ironic that democrats can say that Trump is sexist and hates women (which does seem like the case if we're being honest), but then cheer for Bill Clinton when he gives a speech. Yeah, he really respects women...

I need to look more into Johnson.

2 things that seem kinda off to me about him is that he's anti gay marriage and he wants to get rid of student loans.

But there are a lot of his "on the issues" that I agree with, enough for me to consider taking the time out of my day to vote for him.

So you don't see anything wrong with someone having sexual relations with their intern? You don't see that as abusing a position of power/authority to gain sexual favors? I don't put that under the category of purely consensual sex.

According to on the issues, he supports gay unions, but wants to keep the government out of marriage. If I'm interpreting that correctly, it means he thinks ALL couples (straight or gay) should have equal rights under the law as a couple (what we legally define as marriage today), but doesn't believe that the Church (or any religion) should have to accept the marriage.

Hilary is and set out to destroy the women Bill attacked. Even the ones he payed a settlement to. She also laughed about getting a child rapist off easy in the 70's by attacking the 12 y/o victim, and supressing evidence. And campaigns on her history of helping children and women that are victims of sexual assault deserve to be heard.

I'm not saying it's rape, but I'm saying that it seems to be inherently a compromised "relationship." Can there ever be a truly consensual sexual relationship when one person has significant power/authority over another? It seems likely that it would be more difficult to refuse sexual advances when there may be potential penalties for doing so. I'm not saying that it 100% wasn't consensual, but I can say that it doesn't really display respect for women. It's definitely worse than if he just cheated on his wife with, say, someone he met while playing golf or something.

There are a lot of misconceptions about libertarians and/or the libertarian party. I think a lot of it comes from the media(subtly) distorting people's views of it (neither party likes them). When people actually read up on the candidates and/or party, they often find that they agree with a lot of what they stand for.

And this is my problem with Johnson. For the first time in my life, I find myself seriously looking at a Libertarian candidate. However, the thought of Hillary Clinton being elected President is totally unacceptable to me. Enough that I'm unsure about voting for Johnson, even though that's who I seem to find myself siding with on most issues. It's terrible that these two are the best the two parties can come up with.

I never knew there were so many minority organizations and Hillary seems to be giving a speech at each and every one of them...if she comes through on even half of the promise she is making my taxes are going to double!!!
