Controlling who gets them is the only logical method of restrictions.

Im on your side and i do agree with you, in the sense that there isnt a gun ban coming. But other countries have done exactly what you just laid out there.

Not quite to the scale it would be to do it here. And the relationship they had with their guns was not the same. America would be a totally different monster.

And I don't want to come off like I'm the other end of the spectrum either. I'm a pro-gun Liberal. I wish we could all meet in the middle somewhere. But the propaganda by BOTH sides drives such a wedge between progress.

How exactly does how much you guys manufacture have anything to do with what the government is or isn't planning. Especially when your company doesn't have a contract to produce for the government.

Domestically there is almost 0 threat. Rt .com will inform you on everything CNN doesn't have the balls to show like Russia is planning on launching missles.

what social programs continuing are you in favor of-more affirmative action and political correctness?

equality for who...when a program advances one race or gender over another that is inequality. Hillary has made a ton of promises to blacks/Hispanics/women...at whose expense will she fulfill these promises....my idea of equality is the best, most qualified 'person' for the job gets it-not in Hillary's world!!! affirmative action is the definition of racism, imo!!!

be specific...why the hell would you support lying/crooked emaillary?

Social security, Medicaid, food stamps, healthcare, education. You know, stuff republicans are always trying to cut.

Equality, marry who you want when you want. Women do with your vagina what you want. Equal opportunities and rights for everybody.

When one class of person has had control for centuries, I get it, equality feels like oppression.
 
Plus I'm pro climate science and taking steps to preserve our planet. I'm anti-religion especially when it comes to education. Creationism has no place in the science or history classroom.

I'd rather nasa be funded than military.

It's not a mystery that she's corrupt and crooked.

But I oppose things that the right stands for and wishes to try and implement into society. For loving the Constitution so much, they try to pass more unconstitutional shiit than any party.

social security, Medicaid, food stamps, free healthcare are necessary but under Obama these programs are being badly abused-Obama did away with the requirement to be actively looking for employment while on food stamps-WHY??? those programs are being paid for with the social security I have been paying into for over 40 years, when it comes time for me to collect there will be nothing left, where is the equality in that?

education---don't tell me you are in favor of CORE....the liberal programs are destroying education in this country!!!

healthcare...have you looked at insurance prices lately? Obamacare just isn't working-nothing but broken promises!!!

same sex marriage has already been passed...abortion has been legal since roe v wade....

It's funny....both parties abuse the constitution so regularly it's frightening. I take great umbrage with the social justice of the left and its inability to allow people to succeed and fail on their own accord. On the flip side, the religious right is truly a disease and should keep religion apart from the government. Sadly, both parties have shown the desire to spend tax payer money freely and without concern...neither has the ability to show restraint. Hell, just yesterday or the day before Hillary is on tape stating "it's time to raise taxes on the middle class".... wtf? Very sad times.
 
As someone who has worked in education for over 15 years, the funding argument is silly. We spend more per student than most developed nations. There are far better ways

Just to be clear, while I support the left, I'm not an all out social justice warrior, nor am I politically correct. The extreme left makes me sad and ashamed.

There is a difference between supporting the liberal agenda and supporting affirmitive action. You can support liberal agenda and disagree with that.

ok...after you have paid dearly into a program for 40 years that you were told is to be used for your retirement and then it is being robbed to pay for social programs for illegal aliens and able body persons to lazy to work...then we will talk.

i've paid my dues and deserve the right to bltch about it!!!

The worst part of the whole deal is that yes, we take a side, we seem divided, and there are some things we definitely only sway one way on. But I believe so many of us are in the middle somewhere and there's nobody to represent us. Far Left and Far Right prevent compromise. It's sad.

Wasnt saying that i agree with the liberal agenda. Im full blown conservative libertarian. I was just showing the other side of the coin and saying that you can support something but disagree with parts of it.

The libertarian party is by no means anti science though. I'd rather have personal liberty and freedom (and not have a massive central government controlling my life and spying on me) than have more space exploration. The private sector (capitalism) will eventually find its way to space exploration, and the free market and competition drives innovation in technology for sure.

lol...where have you been? in the last 8 years Obama has practically shutdown nasa, the private sector is dominating space exploration, at least in this country. china and Russia are kicking our ass-thanks Obama!!!

It's a trend that started more than 8 years ago. Funding this war has sapped the money from many more useful places.

Actually space exploration doesn't take big government. Since Obama made NASA a joke by proclaiming NASA needs to encourage Muslims in science, we've been using private companies to shuttle goods to the space station.

I know. My company does several projects for Orbital/ATK , one of those companies.

NASA also does more than just space. They do a lot of climate and environmental work as well.

While the current state of the entire program is shiit, and we can point fingers this way or that, let's not try and act like the Right would be in support of these things in the same light. They don't, and they wouldn't. So sure, things might not be as good as they should, but they can certainly be worse!!
