Btw, I agree. Nobody on this side of the Atlantic can speak on what unbridled immigration of hundreds of thousands of people is doing. It's magnified by the fact that many of those "refugees" have zero desire to assimilate and want to make the host country the same **** hole they left.

Needed EU money to survive and how they have been punished with punitive measures, another good reason to get out along with the EUs single track (with no branch lines) to complete political union!
 
The thing about UK immigration is that it's been proven that immigration has done more good to the economy than bad. There is no question that immigrants contributed more to the economy and to tax receipts than they cost. Numbers don't lie. Only people do.

Biggest problem in the UK is if you say you are English you are considered a racist but if you say you are Scots, Welsh or Irish then you are just proud of your heritage.

It has helped us in the past but there is a limit of how many people the country can sustain.

I live in one of the most liberal cities in the US, and patriotism is rampant here. Not sure where you're from or what you're talking about. Sounds like typical conservative horse$hit.

What about those of us who want to dissolve Federal programs that are completely unconstitutional. Does that make us unpatriotic to go against the state? I already know your answer here though cos we agree about this stuff lol
 
The rise of right wing nationalism is extremely concerning. It feeds off fear and hate. It separates rather than bringing people together. People should read some history books, maybe see how the Nazis came into power. Also, people seem to have short memories, for it wasn't that long ago we were celebrating the fall of the Berlin Wall. Now all people want to do is build new ones.

I wouldnt accuse someone of being unpatriotic for having different political views as long as their inner intent is to make the country better.

Thats not really a direct answer to the question but thats what Ill say.

The wall is a totally different issue, there is no comparison.

That is me saying with the fact I dont support the wall. I know Im sounding like a broken record lately, but Ill say it again, the wall can be instead used to keep us in. F' the wall. We can enforce immigration with many other methods without increasing the already too big prison state.

That's one of the things I found interesting. You and T have some opposing views, but the fellow in that video was making points that both you guys make! Like an English AX / T hybrid or something. :)

Anyway, this EU thing was a 60+ years project apparently. That's lots of work and investment! So if the big players are turning the page on it now, that has to mean something big. The next phase has been initiated, but what is it? To re-nationalize European financial markets and abandon federalization? How the heck does that make any sense, with Africa and America doing just the opposite and pushing to dissolve borders and unionize like there's no tomorrow?

This moment feels deeply significant somehow. Unfortunately, I have no idea how. lol

my ship went to Mombasa kenya...the black guys were all excited to be visiting Africa. lol, when we got there the Kenyan's wanted nothing to do with American blacks-and this is- GODS HONEST TRUTH!!!

funny thing about it though, white guys were in demand in kenya and when we went to Australia the black guys were the it guys...

well it's like this...most white americans come from immigrants, many of whom were not here in those days of slavery. also many whites grew up poor right next to blacks, they do not own poverty. when my great grandparents immigrated from Germany they were homesteaders, in other words dirt poor. why the hell should I have to be responsible for something I had nothing to do with....my grandparents and my mom who raised me by herself never took any government handouts and paid their taxes and were proud to be American!!!

I treat blacks and any ethnic person I meet according to how they behave, the same as I do whites...if they are *******s I want nothing to do with them, if they act like they have some sense then chances are we will get along just fine.

sorry man, I just had to get that off my chest.

I grew up 2 blocks from one of the biggest projects in Indianapolis, I never felt like I or any of my white friends were treated any differently than my black friends. the cops would hassle white guys just as quickly as blacks in that neighborhood...now when any of us- white or black happened to wander into the rich neighborhoods like carmel, we were singled out because they could tell by how we were dressed and the cars we drove that we didn't belong there- and it didn't matter if you were white or black, we were poor and that is what mattered-my friends and I almost always got pulled over by cops in carmel- and skin color had nothing to do with it'!!!

Yeah, it's a pretty simplified poll of where people stand, but it gave me a better insight into who I should research more. I don't think Palin was part of the Libertarians. Are you sure?

I'm fairly sure she wasn't. A lot of people confuse libertarians with the Tea Party, which I think Palin was associated with. They're two quite different things though.

Depends on your definition of a patriot. There are a group of people that want to act like the US Civil War never happened and call themselves "patriots." Also, 99% of the people that bitch about a Mexican Day or Puerto Rican parade will be the first drunk morons at a St Patrick's Day parade, but can't see the hypocrisy.

They used Palin to hijack the libertarian movement....the movement was growing and there was CNN displaying her delivering a "green party" speech as if she was the chosen one. Its all staged. Infiltrate and conquer your competition by taking it over and buying it out. Thats why I do not believe any party belongs in politics, abolish them all.

She was a phony green party leader, like some of the others that tried to hijack the movement.
 
This is one of my favorite journalists out of England, he breaks down brexit really well. Most of you dont have time to watch this but just in case Ill put it out there.

This isnt over yet fellas. They will do anything to keep them in this point forward.
