NATO served it's purpose during the cold war...the soviets had the warsaw pact so we needed allies in Europe.

now it looks like putin is leading Russia back into the big league again. might not be a good idea to be so hasty about pulling the plug on NATO. trump is right though, they need to contribute more to the alliance.

These issues including travel can all be addressed without an unelected dictatorship calling the shots and sacrificing the integrity and sovrenty of independent nations. Policies should be up to the people of the nation, not a foreign power.
 
Our government just has the illusion of being elected, so what's the diff? European officials are also much much different than the crap we've gotta deal with over here. I say they've got it good in the EU

Yes, Im not an expert on it but being the resident tin foil hat conspiracy theorist here I bet my version of how it works and why it was created is different what they tell you it is, lol More and more people are realizing the tin foil hat people are right. Bilderberg Group's involvement with the EU and its creation goes back to the 1950's....bad bad people.

I btw consider NATO to be just like the "peace keepers" from the hunger games. Did you know there is talks of creating a EU army? No not the puppet parliament, but the real people in power.

It's a ploy....follow the money and you will find your answers. The people that finance them are the reasons they are who they are.

Obama is smarter than a lot of people give him credit for, but that doesn't mean he isn't a lying used car salesman of course.

This. Obama, and most of these politicians aren't dumb (many of them are quite smart), but sometimes their actions would have you believe otherwise, if there weren't hidden motives that is.

AX, glad to see you here my foiled amigo! :) Speaking of which, I ran across this guy's video today. He's a proper Englishman (lol) and seems to be quite rational and in touch with European political dynamics. I had never heard of him before today though so have no idea of his creds, but he seems to be some kind of agro specialist maybe. Some of his assertions agree with yours, so if you have 15min will you please watch this and critique his insights?
