What? For real? Young bodybuilder can you bring up an article for us on this? I'm not sure if this is true or not.

One of my buddies that texted me this morning about it said he had a heart attack from too much cocaine. I have no idea what his source was or how true that is, fyi

I know he got caught juicing after his last fight, I can imagine if he was still juicing in combo with coke may be a worse mix with bp issues.

Could be that, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was painkillers. Seems to be the leading cause of deaths for athletes & performers.

Posterior chain has been tight since switching careers. Construction to office. Can't stretch enough I swear

Naprosyn is the best OTC pain killer, IMO. Slightly better than Ibuprofen.

This may sound funny, but I was having some real minor and nagging back and core pain issues a while back. I started a 5X5 and did squats every other day and at first the pain hurt and then one day I realized it was 100% gone. All the squatting seemed to have corrected the weaknesses and was good for that.

Another issue is that sitting all day can shorten hip flexors - and I sit A LOT. I'm either behind a computer or in the car driving 1000 miles a week. I've found this video to be great if you can get someone to help you with it:

Well, yes, of course. There are different levels. Obviously, if technology allows us to target strike and avoid civilian casualties, that's a plus. And nukes are really just the absolute last resort. They have to be. The threat of the nuke should be real though - which makes it a powerful deterrent.

The problem with nukes is that it's far from a last resort. Once the first nukes are launched, it will begin a chain reaction that our society will not bounce back from. It will be the end of the world as we know it. It will be the last action of a 'civilized society' and will bring us back to the stone ages, with what little there is remaining in the world. It's a deterrence sure, but beyond that has no practical use beyond mass global destruction, therefore should be abolished.

Well look at the bright side, the next generation of human organisms will have superior radio resistance and be a lot more hairy too. :)

Did I hear hairy?

Yes, lol. Based on advanced computer models this is probably what the women will look like in those days:

Since you're already so hairy, you'll be one of the only survives grandpa! That means it'll be up to you to repopulate the planet with this new breed of human women that emerges from the rubble. ;)

Clearly a female in that pic.The head adapted and shrunk in size to reduce free space between skull and brain.
:run:

Well, you just defined WHY it is a last resort.

Last resort for what? To win a war? Nobody would win, everyone loses.

In WWII, it also wasn't a last resort. We weren't losing our country to Japan. The US dropped the bomb cos 'Murrrrricaaaa

Oh yeah, I forgot. I just looked back 5 pages ago and remembered now. Sorry, this thread moves too fast.

This whole thread is one big circular discussion. Hopefully people become a lil wiser upon each passing lol

Perhaps the time will come when Heroic men shall be compelled to overcome they're limitations, and redeem themselves of their prior complacency.

What are people's honest thoughts on Gov. Gary Johnson? Seems like a much better (3rd) option during this joke of an election year.

Couldn't agree more. I am hands down voting for him.

Thanks man! Although my wife and I tried this earlier and I almost tipped the dining room table over lol. Time to find something with a wider base.

He said he wants to make all illegal drugs LEGAL! Sorry but with that statement alone he lost my vote.

I have a 26 year old sister that smoked pot which lead to snorting meth, which lead to shooting meth, opium, heroin, etc. Now I have a homeless sister with 4 kids that she has ZERO custody of while she lives house to house, room to room, or behind dumpsters trying everyday to make it until tomorrow. Screw that mentality of "let's make it all legal". Some crap needs to die off, and anyone who sells it needs to rot in prison. I miss my baby sister more than I can express and it's the dealers, the users, the substances that took her away from me.

And yes I am 100% against pot as well. Not judging you if you use it but for me, for my life, for my friends and the people I choose to surround myself with; if you use...you don't come around me

He is the only one Im actually considering voting for if I vote. He isnt my Ron Paul type of libertarian but for my views superior to Dump.

Libertarians are polling 10% nationally which is bigger than any 3rd party before. If they can only hit 15% Johnson would be on the national debates which is one of my requirements when considering to vote for 3rd party.

Pot didnt make your sister do meth, bud. I am horribly sorry for what has happened to her, but marijuana didnt make that happen.

Edit: i know/knew A LOT of people that were/are successful that used pot recreationally. Imo its no different than going out and getting drunk, probably even less harmful.

Drugs being illegal hasnt stopped anybody from doing drugs. Heroin is going rampant around my region in NY. Over a trillion and a half spent and the war on drugs is a complete failure. Its time to end the war on drugs and set up clinics where people can get both clean drugs and self financed health care to help get off the drugs. Drugs is a medical problem, not a criminal problem.

I hate drugs too including alcohol btw.

Goodnight folks, hitting the bed so I can get a killer workout in tomorrow morning.

I use it recreationally and am very successful (work off Wall St in the financial district, 6 fig salary). I have a very busy schedule and it helps me unwind at night at times, and reduces anxiety. I've been successfully doing this since I was a teenager. Even graduated from college with honors and was a heavy user then.

I'm very sorry to hear about this story though, but I as well know that pot is not the reason for it.

Edit: fwiw, I am almost 40yrs old now

Maybe for you. Not everyone that drinks alcohol is an alcoholic. For some, it's the road to alcoholism or potential death.

To me, it's the same for pot.

We will have to agree to disagree on this as I've witnessed this transition first hand. Say what you will but her atmosphere, the weed, the friends, all escalated to harsher drugs. I've cried too many times over her situation to argue about it to strangers online so if you have any respect at all, leave me out of potential debates about this. It's too sensitive for me.

Thank you

That's the thing. We need to end the war on drugs and focus more on healthcare for these people with serious addictions. More addiction research and medical help / counseling. The war on drugs won't get us anywhere.

There is no logical reason for any drug to be illegal, especially when cigarettes and alcohol are legal. No drug costs society as much as cigarettes and alcohol, by a long shot.

I'm sorry for your sister, but I would bet the drugs she was into were already illegal. People are going to do stupid things, regardless of laws.

As long as someone isn't impeding soon someone else's rights, they should be free to do stupid things. Laws should protect individuals from others causing them harm.

And to be clear, I don't drink and I've never used pot. The hardest thing I've ever used is 11-KT and Nolvadex ...so I'm not pro drug USE in any way. It's a stupid problem that we have.

Lets just leave his family thing out of this guys...seems to be a touchy subject that is definitely crossing the line to be alluding to during this conversation after that last post he made.

I agree with you here. There is only one way to become an addict. Only one way to become an alcoholic or a druggie. You have to start doing the behavior to begin with. This is where people need to have a different mindset.

I have a couple back injuries and also work a desk job. I know the pain. I also started squatting every other day and that helped immensely. I had to do PT prior to doing so though (lots of yoga).

I also find I can't stretch enough with this desk job. I think I need to set a timer to get up and walk around every half hour.

Appreciate it. I'm fine with the topic, just out of respect I'd like to not have it directed towards me. My life experiences have given me a (biased) opinion on the matter. Whatever that may be to you all, it's not a judgement on you. I will just choose to not chime in on the subject.

Thank you all for the respect though, especially from strangers, it means more than you can know

Yeah, that's a great plan. He might actually win this thing somehow!

Why would you waste your vote like that?

Yeah Bernie, keep up the good fight! All you need to do is be a little politically incorrect and shout out F'q that Hoe!

I responsibly cannot see myself voting for either of the other two. Even if theres a slim to none chance, at least i wont be voting for either of the other two complete jokes. I was considering voting for trump bc he was "the lesser of two evils". Well, now there's an option that isn't a complete lunatic or a murderer of Americans.

I've never seen him as a lunatic, just another celeb-type personality figure. Kinda like when Ventura or Schwarzenegger were considering a run, it wouldn't be the first celeb/actor that got elected! Remember Reagan? And he usually played the bad guy in his movies. (lol)

So yeah, it's a sad day when DT is the only real candidate, but that Johnson guy has next to zero chance of winning. Why make yourself a loser by making a losing move in a game you can't win? Better to not even vote in that case.
