Donald Trump running for president

when I was in high school if all a guy had to do was say 'hey i'm gay' to gain entry to the girls shower room, the girls shower room would have been vastly overcrowded.

Yeah, been there, tried it, didn't work! I tried to convince my coach once that I should have access to the girls locker room, because "i was really a lesbian trapped in a man's body". He didn't appreciate my sense of humor and I ran 6 extra laps after practice for that one. lol

crazy days...but now I am a granddad to two granddaughters, and I would like to see them get the same protection girls had when I was growing up.

I really think this is going to backfire on liberals, I can't see parents being happy with swinging dlcks sharing teenage girls shower rooms.

this is one of those do-gooder things that sounds good in theory, but in practicality it fails horribly.

I don't believe this new law allows gays to enter shower rooms lol ;) I don't believe it allows gay men to enter women's restrooms either, only trannies (pre or post op). I'm not sure why republicans always feel the need to stretch the truth. I don't believe in this law either but there's no need to exaggerate to get your point across

I am not exaggerating...the bathroom law includes LOCKER AND SHOWER ROOMS!!!

YOU OR I UNDER THIS LAW COULD ENTER WOMENS BATHROOMS...ALL YOU NEED TO SAY IS YOU IDENTIFY AS A FEMALE...now, isn't that the craziest thing you ever heard of?????

under that poorly written law it makes no difference Misfit, I understand your reasons for wanting to support this law, I am sure it was meant to be well intended.

but it is so poorly written and constructed...the only way to keep abuse from happening is if there were an application process where someone would confirm their legitimate reasons for using the opposite sex's bathroom, and be issued a card certifying this.

You would make yourself a homosexual by default. On one hand, if you identify as a female but you still like women, then you automatically identify yourself as a lesbian. On the other hand if you identify yourself as a female, and still like men your scientifically a homosexual.

There is no way out of it.

I identify as a republican for voting purposes, this does not mean I follow party line and agree with republicans on every issue.

I agree with you, a person should use the bathroom for the 'APPROPIATE EQUIPMENT'. I have no problem with someone who has had a sex change operation to use the facilities that are appropriate to that sex....but the law isn't written clearly and includes ANYONE WHO IDENTIFIES WITH THAT SEX, that is where I have a problem.
 
As best I can tell this was hardly an issue before North Carolina Republicans made it one overnight with almost zero debate correct? What was not a problem became a national problem when politicians decided that a state needed to tell a city how to behave? From the "party" of less intrusion?

It's not like we had widespread bathroom pedophila problems, men " faking being women" to shower with girls, etc. We had nothing like this of the sort and now we have people on both sides acting like jackasses in an attempt to make their point and win another pointless politician/media created battle.

if only...if only..if only...you are right the problem lies with dumb lawmakers passing poorly written laws that are distorted and slanted towards whatever view the party in charge decides to take.

this issue gets attention because it pits safety of our kids and wifes against civil rights rights of a minority of less than 4%, of course it is going to get heated....I think that is by design. I truly believe politicians stay up late thinking up things that will divide us!!!

You do realize that the biggest threat to your kids and wives are heterosexual males, right? Always has been and always will be. The fact that anybody thinks this is a new issue, hasn't been paying attention.

How were our wives and kids less safe before? I don't remember hearing stories from North Carolina of massive amounts of rapes, deaths, and calamity in the bathroom. We have been using the same restroom as transgenders for years. Doors and signs don't stop pedophiles, but bathrooms aren't places where pedophiles usually lurk as it's an awful place to attempt to get away with a crime.

HB2 was a solution in search of a problem hastily passed with zero thought behind ecocnomic or social implications. And now the world is flipping out over something essentially no one thought or cared about. Until Republican lawmakers in North Carolina decided it was time to pass a bill with zero debate on an issue most people never spent a second thinking about.

as if Hillary never flops...can you say coal miners? monica Lewinski is a delusional liar. lets overthrow khadafi and see what happens. oh yeah, and Benghazi was caused by a dvd, and she was asleep and wouldn't answer her phone when the attack went down...she was in charge and was warned of danger brewing in Benghazi, she denied requests for additional security from the ambassador and even withdrew some...special forces troops were on stand-by to help our embassy staff and were told to stand down!!! this is not who I want as leader of this country...

I don't support Hilary at all. But how can anyone have any idea of what Trump stands for?! And this video doesn't even have half of his flip flops like the ones recently or his gun flip flops. At best a vote for Trump is a vote for someone that no one has ANY idea of what he will do.
