ok, here we go...this is a perfect example of what the fast food industry is doing wrong.
1. offer incentives for advancement to employees who try to excel. an example of this would be to set up employee training to become asst. managers with the further incentive of becoming managers.
2. hire from within, this goes along with #1. instead of bringing in someone like you to manage people that are starting at the bottom, give those people the incentive of being able to work their way up the 'food chain'-pun intended.
3. 4 years of collage isn't necessary to do most jobs, including running a fast food restaurant. on the job training would be much more specific to the skill set required.
4. fast food is considered a dead end job, this is why most people hate it. instead company's could make fast food a career opportunity!!!!
5. employees used to be considered assets by company's, somewhere down the line company's lost sight of this, and American business has suffered for this mistake!!!
