Donald Trump running for president

Invalid Link Removed

she never worked for trump...she worked for a super pac that trump disavowed and requested closure of by the fec, lol.....

she has about as much inside info on Donald trump as ax1!!!!

more liberal propaganda...surprised you would fall for this Piston Honda,:nono:

"It will be interesting to see if Donald Trump’s supporters will be able to dismiss this evisceration so easily. They can’t cry “liberal media” or establishment bias – this comes from inside his own camp, the people who know him better than any of his supporters."

Lol

wanna bet?

I'm actually going to defend ax1 here.

I'm not saying that the author is a Hitlery or Obama supporter, but Occupy Democrats isn't the best source IMO for non-biased fact checked stories.

thank you for this....a lot of propaganda on both sides!!!!

like the old saying...two sides to every story!!!!

Where'd everyone go? Did we chase em all away with all the trolling? lol
I honestly think we're the only few left in this discussion now haha

Hey man, clear your pms.

I actually watched the republican town hall last night...TRUMP IS DONE!!!

trumps body language told me that he is tired of the process, I don't think he has the will to do this any longer...I look for ted cruz to win in Wisconsin and then pick up momentum, I wouldn't be surprised if ted cruz gets enough delegates to be the outright nominee!!! cruz sounded really good last night, I liked his answers, trump looked and sounded dazed and confused.

see for yourself...to me his heart just wasn't in it...maybe he was just having a bad day, but if I were on the border between trump and cruz last night would clearly have been a win for cruz!!!
I see cruz winning big in Wisconsin after last night!!!

Ted Cruz honestly gives me the willies more than The Donald. He just creeps me out, LOL.

funny, I had that feeling about Obama and Hillary really creeps me out.....

IF cruz can continue to perform as well as he did last night he will be the republican nominee and become the next president....he really did have a good showing last night, the question is can he continue to perform that well thru the general election?

Lets not forget the 3rd, for who I believe to be the most "establishment" candidate left that would really continue the same policies from the previous several administrations may be selected with the only thing that counts, hand chosen by the establishment itself.

Yeah, because the 1% need MORE money......

He wants (well, lets get real here, he says) he wants to abolish the IRS and have a flat tax plan which would be awesome. I dont care if 1% would benefit the most out of it.

Ill just add a family will be charged 0% tax on the first $36,000. This would significantly help the large portion of poor people.

Im the no income tax for all guy around here, but I can compromise into a better system.

I just dont trust Cruz to really pull that off.

You forget the part about the taxing goods. That places an undue burden on the poor.

if the top 1% actually had to pay 10% of gross off the top with no deductions allowed[and no bullsh1t foundation money]then 10% would probably be more than they are paying now after all the deductions are allowed for!!!!

We all know the rich have accountants that creatively manipulate the tax code to create havens, false business entities, etc.

That wouldn't change.

damn...we are in total agreement!!!

lawers write the tax code...and after they write it they go to work for the wealthy finding loopholes in the tax code they just wrote!!!

The bottom line is this: Trump and Cruz's tax plans would essentially bankrupt the government over time. I know some don't really care about that, as they hate statism (@ax1, I'm looking at you ;)), but I think it is an unsustainable route for our country.

Bernie Sanders' plan is essentially the reverse of both of theirs. I know people don't want to hear about tax increases, but I wouldn't mind paying more in taxes for more benefits for all.

Clinton wouldn't really change much in her tax plans, pretty much status quo.

nothing pisses me off more than when conservative republicans say that the poor and working middle class don't pay taxes....I bet I pay a higher percentage of my gross than rush Limbaugh-I would put a weeks pay on it!!!!

Im ok with taxing goods, I dont believe in no tax just no income tax. Ive been VERY poor before, I prefer to keep my money and make decisions I can afford and not have it stolen from me before it ever even touches my pocket.

Anyways, to really answer your question, I support the school of Austrian Economics and would completely reform the rigged economic system in this country that does hurt poor people and keep them stuck there. Its not a 1 answer statement I can make and say problem solved.

I want more say in where taxes are spent...
gas tax-I would be willing to pay .5cents more a gallon for gas if it were solely spent on rebuilding infrastructure

OJT-tax-I think college is a waste of time for most people...I know lots of people with a 4 year degree that aren't even working in a field related to their degree...I propose paying companies a fee or tax write off for in house ON THE JOB TRAINING, like in the good old days. companies could give an aptitude test and those with the aptitude would qualify to be trained in a specific job skill, while earning an income!!!

I would cut back trillions of dollars in budgets before government would ever go broke starting with pulling our empire back from the rest of the planet and having peaceful non-interventionist policies unlike the war mongering policies of Trump and Cruz.

Gas tax is a fair tax policy. Nobody is forced to drive and at how much. I would rather have a much higher gas tax than the demeaning income tax to help fund public infrastructure.

Your second part is a totally awesome statement in regards to school and training.

So, what about people that don't have a choice about driving?

How are you going to get to work in a rural area?

People will have to figure that out on their own and be flexible with their options such as moving to where work is found.

I mean really, Ive had ALOT of problems in my life (not going to write my biography here, lol) and I sat down over time and figured out how to put myself in a better position where I can afford a good car, can afford a home, can afford to live the lifestyle I want. I wasnt fed a silver spoon as a kid and growing up in a 3rd world country family I wasnt given path to make it better for myself....

Hey, life is hard thats reality. That doesnt mean I dont care, but there are economic solutions to help minimize problems in society where more people have a chance to pick themselves up.

As to the second part, all due respect, but I think you may be biased again by "the good old days". My father has the same mentality. In his youth, you didn't even need a high school diploma to get a "decent" job, it has changed substantially since then. I have a Master's and was lucky enough to obtain a career related to my chosen field of study. A 4 year degree is helpful even if you don;t get a job in the exact field that you have chosen to study.

Yes, life is hard.

You make it sound simple, but it is more complex than that.

I realize you grew up poor, and kudos to you for being able to drag yourself out of it.

Have you ever lived in a rural area?

Ill just add....maybe gas is unnecessarily expensive as it is not including tax. Maybe the cost of energy for people are getting gypt to start.

Maybe if the government handed over those documents they stole from Nikoli Tesla's apartment and handed it over to several tech companies to compete, research and develop we can have free unlimited energy for an eternity.

This is where I look at, rather than finding how to pay for poor people, I look to address solutions such as why is it so damn expensive to be alive in the first place.
