More info on actual unemployment and UNDEREMPLOYMENT. I know many people working a couple part time Jobs since their career full time job went away. But hey, they are employed right? Thanks to the employer mandate, many people had full time hours cut to part time in order to avoid the Obamacare penalty for not providing insurance, or healthcare, whichever you want to call it. My wife being one of them. She was working full time 36hrs/week at a hospital ER. As the employer mandate got closer they cut her to 25 hrs/wk and classified her as part time. Then ad some people quit, any new hires were hired as PRN, which those in the medical field know as "as needed" basis. They were hired at 20hrs/week. Now they aren't even classified as part time employees. Needless to say, she left fairly soon after. Thanks to Obamacare, her job was cut drastically, along with millions of other people.
My wife has been a part time nanny for a couple at church for a year now, and I've been working out of town averaging 4-5 months per year for the last 3 years to make up the difference. Thanks to my union job and double time.
But sure, the economy is cranking.
Gas prices, that's another fun one. Oil production, on FEDERAL LAND, is very low, and new leases to start oil production are practically impossible to get. The oil production boom has almost exclusively happened on private land, which the feds can't prevent. So sure, oil and gas is cheap, IN SPITE of Hussein.
