Man am I ever lucky I was part of the Canadian educational system growing up. That's one thing that Canada does proper.

Ill have to look at their system, maybe Ill get some good idea's off of their model.

College education is as easy as going on youtube now a days....well really there are all kinds of quality programs online including complete fully accredited educations systems such as the Ron Paul institute which gives an alternative style from the government with its non-interventionist implementation and teaching children to love real freedom and liberty unlike the way the government had lied to me as a child on what thats all really about.

The future is the net....privatization and low cost education will some day be norm if gov...doesnt want to regulate it more.

When Obamacare started changing how doctors are compensated here, that's why thousands of doctors have retired before they wanted to and left the medical field altogether.

Doctors are the next school teachers. Reduced under payed government regulated bureaucracy with little no incentive to have that job or to grow within it. End result, reduced quality of education and now reduced quality of medicine.

To top off the cherry pie, then IRS then comes in a steals from the little doctors and teachers make and re-distributes it to their corporate and banking buddies to fund the military industrial complex and other things. They trickle down the chicken feed to poor people just enough to make them feel socially justified by keeping them away from soup lines and prevent them from up-rising, and in return the poor people keep voting for their exploiters.

when I was in 3rd grade they were just starting this thing called busing...in those days schools were mostly designated white or black, and the primarily black schools were poorly funded and staffed. black children scored much lower on test scores and this was designed to elevate back scores more equal to whites. the scores for black children did go up, but the scores for white children started to drop. today both black and white children's scores are below what they were before this started.

I am actually a proponent of integration of schools and feel this was needed and the right thing to do...what I am against is how poorly this was administrated to allow the results to have turned out so negatively... today American children[both black and white]score very poorly against other industrialized countries...the whole damned education system needs a good overhaul, imo!!!

This stuff is crazy reading stories like this....its like you know it happened in the past, but then people from that era experienced it talk about it but I still have this feeling this cant be real!

Ive actually met older black men (just a very small few out of many) that still want to socially engineer blacks to be lifted out and whites to be furthered dumbed down to make what happened 50 years ago more fair today. Makes no sense. Im like, I want to lift everybody up....they dont wanna hear it. I tell them I wasnt born with a silver spoon in my mouth either, but no they dont wanna hear it.

I was raised poor and went to school with blacks, Hispanics and some Asians, we were all taught the same courses, from the same books, by the same teachers!!! imo, by the time I was in high school the department of education started the dummying down of American education to lift up grades of blacks, instead of offering blacks tutoring to raise their level up. until the start of 'busing' blacks truly were at a disadvantage, changes needed to be made...but the way they went about these 'changes' turned out poorly for generations to come!!!

it really is a case of good intentions gone wrong!!! but they should have realized it wasn't working much sooner and made the necessary changes, unfortunately government has a difficult time admitting a mistake!!!
 
ok...I was looking back on those early days of busing. this was also around the same time private schools became really popular for those who could afford them....so the wealthy politicians who passed the bills that instituted integration of black and white schools, were sending their kids to exclusive white private schools....then came Vietnam and the wealthy kids of politicians all got exemptions[check out the song fortunate son by credence Clearwater revival], the politicians were sending poor kids to Vietnam while their kids were all enrolled in college or otherwise exempt....now we come to Obamacare--the very same politicians who passed Obamacare into law exempted themselves and their families...imagine that!!!!!


does anyone else see a pattern here....maybe if politicians had to live under the laws they pass there would be a higher success rate!!!

Its so funny, people that I debate with in real life about Obamacare usually have nothing to say when I ask them if they say its so good, then why did they exempt themselves with the laws they enforce on others?

Back to your youth...black people liberated into white schools only to be sent off by force overseas to go protect their "freedom" that was just handed over to them and murder millions of yellow people that was triggered by black liberator Lyndon Johnson's false flag attack to justify war. And when they came back home many of them were spat on and homeless and most people didnt give a crap.

ALL veterans were treated like crap back then but that is fodder for another day...the real truth here is that the very people passing these laws are not living under them....maybe if politicians had to suffer consequences of laws they pass they would put more effort into making them successful.


I think the penalty for not being covered under Obamacare is up to $1000. I am curious how many people would rather pay the penalty?

Yeah I remember Michael Moore once was going around washington dc and walking up to politicians and handing them over a volunteer enlistment form for their children. Boy did they look offended, lol.

Besides the penalty (which I hear they may even raise) I wonder if the withheld income taxes are not enough to cover things (or non-tax paying citizens) if it will turn into civil asset forfeiture abuse.

I feel bad for poor people. They were told they will get health care and the solution is buy insurance that you cant afford and when you go to the doctor pay the outrageous deductible that costs the same price at 100% for your checkups..... but now you have less money in your pocket to pay for it, so maybe just skip the doctor visit and save the trouble. Just be sure to buy your insurance, its good for politicians collecting lobby money and stock holders! Thanks Obama!

I joined the navy right after high school 1976, then went to school on GI bill in philipines after that...so I can't say what it was like before Nixon----geez, I am not that old:amish:

I caught the part about Obama saying college should be obtainable for every American..what a joke!!!

in my day only the brightest 5-10% even thought about college unless mommy and daddy had tons of money to 'donate'. college actually meant something then, now so many who shouldn't be in college are, that it has become watered down.

back in the day companies had programs called 'OJT'[on the job training], if you took a test and had aptitude for a job the company would teach you what you needed to know to do the job. companies even had professors come in and offer classes that could lead to advancement and promotions, this is what we need today....Obama should be offering incentives to companies to train people specific things needed to do specific jobs!!!

giving a supervisor job in manufacturing to someone with a college degree in communication is just plain ridiculous, imo. in the end that persn will still be need to be trained in specifics of that job. on the other hand masters and phd degrees are a different story so don't go there with what about doctors/lawyers/teachers....

He throws in the word "free" too much, nothing is free. Everybody will pay for college, peoples taxes go up....people who want nothing to do with college or already payed for college themselves will have their taxes go up to pay for that.

Before you know it 2 year school will be the equivalent of a GED.

OJT is perfect...it teaches you specifically what you need to know, and you are getting hands on training plus classroom!!! it is very similar to union apprenticeship.

Finished the speech....CNN people saying this is his best since 2008. Well, if you analyze what he said in 2008, its his best at being a evil liar who spend the next 8 years completely flip flopping on all his campaign promises,.....so in those regards they are right about last night.

Seriously, I did not hear a single line that sounded above a 4th grade level of understanding, and not a single line that wasnt straight bullshyt.

Being this is the final union address was a bit personal to me as it took me back 8+ years ago when I full supported, voted and defended him to the max. Then he flip flopped everything the very first few months, and he resulted in a AnabolicMinds forum monster, lol!

His biggest regret in his presidency has to be turning on me, I know for a fact he wakes up every day thinking about it.
 
I wish politicians in general would stick to their campaign promises. They rarely do, and if it's big change, it usually gets half assed in order to get passed. That's the big takeaway from this past term I think.

Yeah I agree....he woke me up to reality, I can truly say Obama has woken me along with many other people up to the realities of the way Washington is run as a whole, which include many others than just pinpointing Obama.
 
His campaign took a very interesting road when it turned to that whole "Yes we can" thing. I knew it was all hype, and it worked. It wasn't a revolution, and nothing revolutionary would come out of his term, but it was advertised as such. Great intentions though lol

I used to refer to the Dalai Lama as a Nobel Peace prize winner, but I dont relate the two anymore.

Obama hypnotized a massive amount of people as if they were on a drug. I remember after the election it was as if Jesus came to save us.

I thought it was interesting how Biden is sorta endorsing Sanders. Im sensing some inner termoil here with Obama vs. Clinton.

Hitlery got caught up in more lies about the email scandals the others day.

I think its possible Hitlery will get the nomination, have her election then suspended due to legal crimes and then it automatically goes to the Democratic National Committee and they will simply hand select Biden.

Hitlery will be an obstacle and in the way to what Obama may pull off....and mark my words I call a 75% shot at this one......

Obama has a NWO global government agenda, we all know this, he preaches this over and over again.

In 2009 he did the unprecedented illegal Constitutional act of sitting in as guest seat as Chairman of the UN Secretary Council. This act alone should have called for impeachment but thats another topic.

Over the years he has shown more loyalty to the NWO United Nations that our own elected Congress, including getting war approvals from the UN and criminally bypassing Congress.

Could it be....could that have been a preview of whats to come after Obama's presidency?

The little birdie on my shoulder tells me Obama will one day in the very near future will lead the NWO as Secretary-General of the United Nations and obtain more powers than he has ever had before.

Ill just call this a big WARNING!
 
BTW, the current educational system here in America is the reason my wife and I chose to home school my son. It has nothing to do with religion, although the creationists are trying to push their crap into schools, but the level of curriculum.

I'm lucky enough to be able to support my family off of a full time and part time job, and make that sacrifice for my son's future. My wife took him to a local school recently, as she was having trouble with him doing his schoolwork. They gave him an assessment, and even though he is only 8 years old and at third grade level at home, he tested out at 4th to 5th grade level!

I'm not saying this to brag, just to point out how crappy schools have become today :(
