Donald Trump running for president

I am already paying for them, all these minimum wage increases are already indirectly taxed on my when my McDonalds salad go up in price when wage is increased by force.

If you force employers to pay more money they trickle down the costs to the consumer. Then you can easily make it up by cutting a job or two.

that is the most stupid post you have made, lol!!!

all these minimum wage increases???????

In effect then....raising minimum wage actually hurts the poorest of the poor who will be deprived of work as cost of living increases.

I dont even like him, lol

I worked hard all my life from uneducated, broke, homeless without any direction to college educated self proprietor moving forward in a matter of 10 years (from mid 90's to mid 2000's). Im not rich life is a struggle, but proud of where I got. How come government cant force people to spend more money on my products and services? Why cant I get a raise? I almost feel like I should have not wasted my time I could have just got a job at Wallmart if wage is some $15 an hour and not have gone through the trouble. And I have worked at retail before at minimum wage at $5.05 an hour.

Most minimum wage jobs probably work 30-ish hours per week. Ooooh a big $450 a week before taxes.

Livin' the high life!! Woot woot

Of course we don't feel the need to have places like Walmart open 24hrs so fat f*ck rednecks can buy **** at 2am on the way home from maccas so we can afford to pay staff reasonable money

Lol 5 an hour? That **** would be illegal here.

Back in '95. Then in early 2,000's when I put myself into college I worked $6 minimum wage. Have had on and off jobs before some MUCH better, some not.

Minimum is around $9 in NY going up I think this year and next.

It really puts a high impact when it comes to middle class business, mom and pops shops and stuff. I dont hire, I just work harder but i wouldnt mind hiring if there wasnt so many laws, regulations, insurance, etc....

Hhahaha!

Reminds me I had a job refurbishing wooden pallets. We got payed per pallet and tallied per 15 size bundle for easy count. My friend and I would work an 8 hours shift, the goal was some 20 bundles a day (I really cant remember the goal, lol but thats not the point.) The guy next to me would do what we did in 8 hours 4 hours instead and do a better job that we did in half the time. He only worked 20 hours a week and had decent full time income.

The whole time he would go off in crazy cocaine like rants and start shooting us with the air gun staple, damn I hated him!

Haha damn!

Speaking of wood pallets, I've been getting back into woodworking lately, DIY stuff, and I've seen so many amazing things you can build out of these pallets :D I need to find out where I can get some on the cheap in NYC

Why does everyone act like $15 an hour is so huge?

What do you think of college kids who have a job at $15 an hour at some office for example, all the sudden Wallmart makes more money than them? What does that do to the value of working hard and investing time and money for progressing yourself?

Or lets say DMA you may $75 an hour and you invested 10's of thousands of dollars in education and worked your tail off to get where you are. How do you feel valued if Wallmart workers all the sudden get a $80 minimum wage increase.

Does that bother you at all, as if you soul was devalued at all? Maybe not just asking.

do you even remember the last time minimum wage was raised?

what happened?

we are talking reality now, not some corporate hypothetical bullcrap propaganda that you seem to be buying into.

Minimum wage has been steadily increasing in my state every year, and the cost of everything has also been going up.

answer the question....if you can remember back to when the federal minimum wage was raised, what happened?

That was in 2009. The cost of everything has really been going up.

Our priority should be repealing all the Federal Reserve's inflationary policies that are hurting poor people the most and never allowing them to reach to a point where minimum wage can cover their expenses anyways.

The minimum wage in 1938 was $0.25 cents which is worth about $4 in todays money.

Thats the problem. Inflation.

since you have been busy googling instead of relying on your personal experience....google 'minimum wage mythbusters' published by the UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF LABOR.... I think you might find this enlightening!!!

if you will google that, you will learn what ACTUALLY HAPPENS when the minimum wage is raised, instead of relying on hypothetical nonsense!!!

Even if it head good positive effect according to the "government" it doesnt matter. Im not interested in filling a leaky balloon with more air.

Thats all from the perspective and change inside the Keynesian economics system and the Feds inflationary policies.

I want real change and give poor people a real stable currency, reverse and repeal laws such as taxes, regulations and policies that inhibit job creation along with inflationary policies to give poor people a more stable future to look forward too.

The whole system needs to be replaced from the ground up, and that starts by wiping out the Federal Reserve and supplying the gold and silver standard to Americans providing a far more inflationary proof system. Im not interested playing the minimum wage infinite catch-up game that dissipate in a short period of time. I support real long term change and stability.

This country is broke, more and more are put on food assistance and its not going to get any better if we prioritize minimum wage. If we dont fix this soon, this country will be a 4th world country.

true...he needs to share, I heard he had to rent another warehouse to store all of his 'goodies'!!!

Lol first it was
"PETA has sent the militia men vegan snacks"
Next it will be
"Bodybuilders are now sending the militia men protein powder cakes with pre workout samples"

From "myth busters" via the love of my life, government

Irony here in the study of 799 business is, if 60% of small business really support and 48% also STRONGLY support minimum wage increases "to keep pace with cost of living," how about you cheap fuqers just give your damn workers a damn raise and livable income so your employees can keep up the pace! LOL

Are these militia guys going to jail and losing their rights to own guns once this is over? Or just a slap on the wrist because they are white "patriots"

Probably a slap on the wrist. Since they all somewhat resemble Chris Kyle.

When is the Federal Government going to be prosecuted for something for a change instead of a slap on the wrist? Lying to congress about spying, the IRS getting caught giving political opposition extra harassment and then destroying the evidence, Hitlery destroying her hard drives, Obama committing treason by getting foreign government authority to wage wars and bypassing congress, etc.....

Idk. There hasn't been much done so far. I just watched he "press conference" they had from earlier today and they pretty much had the media at gun point. Not a single government official/police officer was there
