Donald Trump running for president

ok...here is my take on Obama. perception=reality for many people, myself included.
I perceive Obama to be:
anti-Christian
anti-guns
anti-military
anti-traditional American values
anti-white males
pro-islam
pro-affirmative action
pro-black militantism
pro-minority and women and gay rights over those of white heterosexual males

I am sure I forgot some, but this is just a broad overview of how I perceive obama

Oh boy.

Damn bigT, you getting nutting out of me again today! lol, cant you bring up minimum wage again please????

But what about Chicago? Or Toronto for that matter?

Chicago is all hell and they have some of the strictest gun control in the country. They would benefit greatly if they followed the Detroit model and what the police chief implemented there recently.

I dunno anything about Toronto, Ill have to look into that.

you asked for it...46 million americans get food stamps, many of them are working americans and yet you bitch about high taxes...I say taxpayers need to stop paying at least 20% of minimum wage earners salaries in the form of entitlements, and make employers pay a livable wage.

either employers pay a livable wage or else we the taxpayers keep subsidizing the minimum wage workers!!!

besides it is the right thing to do!!! we need to get behind those who are willing to work, if we do then maybe more would be working!!!

I was just kidding. Yeah Chicago's a mess from what I've heard. I have a friend who's cousin is a professional there. He keeps a shotgun under the seat of his car on fear of a carjacking/robbery. Rough city. I've never been though.

a professional what, lol!!! anyone with any sense would know that by the time you got a shotgun out from under your car seat you would be dead, lol. a 40mm would be much preferable!!!

He's a creative director for a big ad agency, has a sweet ride, lots of money, huge house. But has to drive through a rough part of town to get to work.

Funny how fear gets a hold of people down here in the states though. I never hear stories like this back in Canada, and Canada is still privy to its gangs and violence, etc.

a shotgun is good for home protection...if you have an intruder in your house and you fire a shotgun at him you aren't going to miss, lol...on the outside chance he doesn't die from being shot he will probably die of a heart attack at how loud that bang was inside a house, lol....on the other hand under the seat of a car is no place for a bigassed, bulky shotgun.

trust me a 40mm is much easier to get to and will definitely do the job when travelling in a car!!!

it is important to have the right tool for the job!!!!

It also doesn't penetrate walls as easily either, especially if you use shot instead of slugs. ;)

indeed, gotta save those walls....trust me even if it's shot and it doesn't kill him, after hearing a 12guage go off inside a house that sucker is gonna beat feet!!!

Truth!!

I don't understand why everyone doesn't see this, it is obvious....plus everytime the minimum wage goes up wages increase across the board for hourly workers....those who are against minimum wage increases have bought into corporate America propaganda, ax1!!!!

I have already explained how I want to help poor people, and I believe that minimum wage only causes inflation. We can make minimum wage $20 it wont be enough to pay for things just around the corner without addressing many other issues which I want to cover first. Im also worried about job loss.

I just have a different vision which starts with having a real currency for the people, eliminating income tax along with ss and medicare tax, have better energy policies, reducing cost of life and I go on from there etc......

Top that off with the fact I dont believe in hourly wage in general, its a silly concept.

job loses...are you kidding me, every job that can be cut HAS been cut!!!
inflation???geez what country have you been living in for the last 10 years???
taxes are a fact of life, you get rid of income tax you will still have taxes in one form or another!!!
sure get rid of ss now, after I have paid into it all my life!!!

earth to ax1

However, if each state started selling marijuana recreationally, like in Denver, I'm certain taxes can be greatly lowered.

Federal taxes are already very low (comparatively).

I made minimum wage in the past, having taxes taken out of my checks were the most demeaning when every penny meant most.

When you can earn all the fruits of your labor at least from there you can make choices in life on how to spend the money rather than having it stolen from you before you have choice what to do with it.

We can get rid of most jobs not far from now, it will just be cheaper to invest in automation rather than dealing with government telling companies how much to pay humans, then top off SS of company pays half for, insurance, etc......

The last 10 years certainly in NY the costs of everything has gone up, maybe my state is different than yours?

I never meant to simply get rid of SS overnight....you would phase it out. I know on my front page of my SS statement they tell me whatever I get I wont be getting in 2035, only about 75% of it, and it may get worse if drastic changes arent done soon. Its a failing system and government should have no say to violate an individuals liberty of choice of services.

Having no taxes is idealistic but not practical whatsoever.

Never said "no" taxes, just no income tax. Its 100% idealistic and simply to apply, you can just judge it single pointedly and bring along the other issues that complete economic policies and government income/spending.

However, if each state started selling marijuana recreationally, like in Denver, I'm certain taxes can be greatly lowered.

Just decriminalize all drugs, 1.5 trillion have been spent on a failed war when the country could have made more than that.

Remember that the US has 0% income tax until the Federal Reserve took power by coup in 1913.

The country did damn well fine before that.

I can't believe you would rather subsidize entitlements than support a hike in the minimum wage...that just plain makes no sense.

Subsidize entitlements? Can you clarify please?

your tax dollar is paying 20% of minimum wage earners income in the form of subsidy's!!!

can I get any clearer than that!!!

Just decriminalize all drugs, 1.5 trillion have been spent on a failed war when the country could have made more than that.

Powders and hard drugs destroy lives though. I wouldn't want to see them decriminalized. Maybe possession for personal use can be decriminalized, but not trafficking.

I dont support any subsidies, minimum wage or hourly wage at all. Id rather measure production and its value and incentivize output.

I know that, thats why I dont do drugs, lol!

We have a major heroin crisis here in NY, its been illegal for decads. Its wasting tax dollars on something that doesnt work.

Your will NEVER get rid of trafficking, this is proven with the failure on the war on drugs. Your only empowering the black market and putting gangs into power.

Prohibition doesnt work. Just like Capone and alcohol.

Better off having clinics where people can get clean needles to help prevent spread of disease, have clean drugs which alot of black market drugs are spiked or watered down with other chemicals and cause more harm, and at the same time and the same clinic have drug counseling and help available because damn I do want people to have access to help rather than dying from dirty drugs or going to jail.

I agree with incentivized earnings. Usually it only effects a person's bonus at certain jobs, but imagine if it could effect a person's overall salary. It would transform the working world.

More truth.

The war against and incarceration cost is out of control.

My best jobs (other than my own business) were always non-union and non-hourly. One job I had was non-union cable company, we got payed by the foot per fiber optic cable and for certain other installments.

It was the hardest job of my life because I worked with motivated people who had every incentive to produce, and damn was it ever rewarding and I know for a fact we blew out the paychecks of the Union boys doing the same job and got 3-4 times more production than they did.

do you pay taxes?

if you do, you are paying 20% of minimum wage earners income, it isn't a matter of rather. it is a matter of what it is!!!

Side note actually on thread topic. So I chat daily with a friend in Australia, tell him about this thread, and his quote just now,

"Your country already fuked man. Would be funny for rest of the world though"

Speaking of Donald Trump of course. Just a bit of perspective.

When I was in college, I worked as a tree-planter one summer. We were paid per tree. I made a whole damn lot of money, while getting in great shape! I also got a great tan

Yeah I do, and I have pay full SS since Im self employed.

I didnt know that I pay 20% of minimum wage workers, that upsets me even more. I have to pay their labor out of my own labor, and when I go to McDonalds my salads keep going up in price. It is what it is, buy Im totally against it and dont support it.

Hhahaha!

Reminds me I had a job refurbishing wooden pallets. We got payed per pallet and tallied per 15 size bundle for easy count. My friend and I would work an 8 hours shift, the goal was some 20 bundles a day (I really cant remember the goal, lol but thats not the point.) The guy next to me would do what we did in 8 hours 4 hours instead and do a better job that we did in half the time. He only worked 20 hours a week and had decent full time income.

The whole time he would go off in crazy cocaine like rants and start shooting us with the air gun staple, damn I hated him!

dude...I am happy to see you finally woke up.

if employers aren't forced to pay a higher wage we will continue to pay their workers for them, I don't know why you can't understand that!!!!

I say make mcdonalds pay their employees, I am tired of paying mcdonalds employees for them----mcdonalds and Walmart have a hellova lot more money than I do!!!

I know what you're saying, but we will never get rid of crime either. Should we end crime fighting?

Absolutely not....I think we would do a far better job fighting crime if we ended the war on drugs and focus only ON crime. It takes too much money, resources and time. Simply dramatically reduce crime by decriminalizing it and treat drug addiction only as a medical issue.

Im big on old fashioned police work and fighting real crime. State, country, local, Sheriff and get the Fed the hell out of our police departments.

I am already paying for them, all these minimum wage increases are already indirectly taxed on my when my McDonalds salad go up in price when wage is increased by force.

If you force employers to pay more money they trickle down the costs to the consumer. Then you can easily make it up by cutting a job or two.
