You just live in a far different world than me man if you don't think our role as a leader in the world is important. A RESPECTED leader. Say what you want about Obama, but for the most part he is respected globally. So was Bush. So is any damn President with a bit of diplomatic principles. Do I like either side, not really. But yeah, I'd rather have Hillary, hell I'd rather have Cruz or Rubio or Paul, than Trump. You want to "shake up" the system vote for Sanders. If you don't think partnerships are important in the world you're crazy.
You're right, it's not an emo issue. But it saddens me that people are willing to make an example of things by voting for a circus side-show at the expense of our credibility as a nation.

Thanks for the respectful reply, these debates often get nasty. We won't live to see it, but like all nations this one will eventually be rubble. I would like our descendants to have a choice and a gun if they want it. Obama is viewed positively by people who hate our way of life.

Large groups can benefit from collective knowledge. But the collective emotional level of a large group quickly becomes that of a sniveling 8 year old. Its not about emotions at all, it's about reality. I can easily say some stuff right now to trigger nationalistic baby feelings. You would have to present evidence to claim a mind set or way of thinking collective. Just saying that mindset is collective because you cant believe that the US isn't all that, doesn't mean **** to the reality of things.

To address your response a couple comments above also regarding my use of the term conservative, I realize that input a big blanket over a lot of people with that word that may not fall into that group. Just as I don't fall under the liberal blanket. It's just easiest to generalize a point.
Trust me I hate the system and these politicians too. But trump is not the answer. Not for us, not for the world, nothing. If that's all we can come up with as a solution, it's a sad sad day in America.
I want to shake it up too. Get rid of the parties that put us against each other and hold this country hostage. But trump??? That's all we got???

I honestly dont see much difference between him and most of the rest. He wont do anything to audit the Federal Reserve and abolish it, he will support the IRS and income tax, he will continue all the wars, he will continue the war on drugs, he will continue to spy on Americans and punish any whistle-blowers having no regards to the US Constitution and Bill of Rights.....and so on.

It was hijacked when the Federal Reserve took power in 1913 when congress was off on vacation and only a few handful of Senators illegally passed the bill and all else is history since. Our currency has lost the gold/silver standard, the income tax amendment was put in place, IRS took power to give the "Un-Federal" private bank their own army of mercenaries and so on. They have over the last decade alone stolen trillions of dollars and consistently devalued our currency and our elected officials havent dared touch them outside of a partial audit led by Ron Paul in 09 that revealed trillions of dollars secretly forked over to many overseas banks and institutions in when we our own government isnt allowed to know who anybody is.
PS Well, first off you are free to obey or not obey whatever it is you please. If your born into this system you are in fact bound to federal law....the problem is not you or me, but we have all these politicians in congress, senate, the president and the supreme court who take oath of office to the Constitution and they dont obey it which makes them fugitives with power and hardly anybody is doing anything about it.

Good video, I've seen it a couple of times. I agree there was a better time to live in but the US is still just another government. A powerful one too but that never ends well, statism is just a Utopian ideology. Its just a idea that strangers can tell others how to live life, with the idea that we can't trust our own neighbors. Generally speaking of course. This is what happens when strangers have the illusion of power and the people feel powerless without them.

I dont think we live in an enlightened society as to where we can live without a government that enforces rules and boundaries and have it last more than a few minutes before some power hungry group gathers together to cease power.

When it comes down to what you say, at that point its merely what you believe. Even with that way of thinking I'd rather not have those individuals have a opportunity to get into any type of power(even though it happens now). A lot of people don't claim self ownership though which creates a environment for collectivism(power hungry individuals). Whenever I can talk about Voluntaryism I talk about it, maybe I'll enlighten someone to self ownership and the NAP(sometimes I feel like a Jehovah's witness lol).

When it come down to it Voluntaryism is an ideology that everything is voluntary. If you want you kid in school you pay for it, want your road fixed get everyone together that wants it fix and paid whom ever to do it, etc.... Its a ideology that is hard to grasp but not impossible. Merely a society ran by free market capitalism and the non aggression principal as a bases to go off of.

Alot of those principles (well the few you just listed) go along with the principles of freedom and liberty that I defend fiercely.
The main difference is that I support its mandate maybe?
Im going to look at that video in more in depth tomorrow and look more into that, Im sure there are things I can learn from it.
