I find something right now:
A few years back Markus Schürks, MD led a research team that concluded that vitamin E actually increased the risk of hemorrhagic stroke but a decrease risk for ichesmic stroke.
So what does this mean? According to the study, not much actually. Vitamin E didn’t really majorly affect the risk of stroke and some concluded that the risk was only upped to one extra stroke per ~1,400 patients.
But since the study upped risk by 20% in hemorrhagic stroke, I’d stave off the Vitamin E and stick to folic acid, Viramin C, and B12 vitamins, all which are good to take if you are at risk for a stroke or have had one in the past.
