Diet trends are nothing new, and quite frankly, I’m getting sick of them. The latest on everyone’s radar that is buzzing is the Sugar Diet.

Now, I’m going to be real with you… I’m not a fan of sugar. Like — not at all.

But for some reason, someone came up with the Sugar Diet, and people are running with it. Some individuals are even getting some pretty shocking results from it in the short term.

That said, we really don’t have any long-term data on the Sugar Diet, which is just one of the reasons why I’m not recommending it to people. But you can do whatever you want — it’s your life and health.

When I first heard of the Sugar Diet, I literally thought it was a joke. A diet packed with sugar that supposedly helps you lose weight? Ain’t no way.

I'm going to give this a shot for a week and monitor my glucose. I'm really interested to see what my sugar looks like eating fruit candy and soda lol

Interested to hear your results. After a long cut - eating candy seems like it would be fun for a bit.

Well to be fair, the diet run as intended is not supposed to be candy/soda based, but fruits with some syrups and juices. Im a sweet tooth, but no way I could eat mainly candy through the day.

My experience with it has been very similiar to Chase Irons. I was fasting from 5pm through to 1pm the next day, and struggling some days with hunger. For the last 3 weeks, instead of fasting all morning Ive been eating fruits, syrups and pomegranate juice and fukc me what a game changer. The fat loss on my gut hasnt diminished, its probably increased. And Im not calorie counting whatsoever. Its crazy knowing Ive increased calorie intake, and this has increased fat loss. Ive also found its helped with adherance (I no longer crave processed junk, if anything Im looking forward to my chicken and rice ).

Its so good to be improving body composition without feeling hungry whatsoever. Ive struggled with bingeing, so this strategy is a winner as far as Im concerned.

I havent done a true "sugar fast", where you just eat fruit all day and no fat or protein sources, I havent needed to. So at the moment I do protein, fat and starches from midday til bed. Im stoked with the results.
