Does powder have to be capped? Cant be taken alone?

You can do that yes, but the trick is having a good enough scale to measure down to the small amounts that some powders require. For example M-dien require a dose of around 10mg and good luck measuring out 10mg and spooning that in to a drink THAT is why we suspend it in liquid so that we can pull out X amount of liquid and know it will contain X amount of mg's.
