Does Clomid cause water retention?

Well think about how clomid works. It blocks the estrogen receptor. Estrogen is still being produced. The higher the estrogen is the more water weight and fat you will have. So yes it will cause water retention. An AI will rid you of water weight...but some estrogen is needed.
