Does Beta-Alanine have calories?

Pretty simple and straight forward question.

I've read somewhere that Alanine itself had about 4.3cal per gram, not sure how the "Beta" would affect this.

And yes I know it might not be a massive calorie amount given dosage, but if I'm already weighing it when dosing there is no reason not to track it and cause more discrepancies in calorie estimation.

I wouldn’t count it but it does to appear to be about 4 calories so if you want to Calculate that then have it lol. Most people consume the 3 gram dose which is ~4 calories

Wouldnt a 3 gram dose = 12 calories though if it is about 4 calories per gram? Also, I thought everyone was consuming the recommended 6.4g dosage. Though I guess that can vary on each person's choice.

I guess I'm more so unsure how the "Beta" attachment to the alanine affects calories if Alanine alone is indeed 4~ish calories per gram.
