Does arginine decrease IGF-1 as attached article suggests?

Rather keep my healthy IGF-1/GH levels than get minuscule benefits of arginine which supposedly increases GH on rest days. Right? Am I missing something here or reading something wrong?

See that one must take 30g a day of arginine to effectuate a GH increase, but that knocks down IGF-1. Is there an implication somewhere that decreasing the HGH marker IGF-1 does not matter as GH increase is the only thing that is important.

iv actually read the opposite.
I have also read lots of stuff by supp manufacturers that seems contrary. First off, are arginine increae studies at 39g a day dose as the pubmed stuff seems to indicate need 30g a day to effectuate ANY increase. If so, argon useless for GH boosting effects.

Biggest question I have us whether decreasing or increasing IGF-1 actually does nothing as the only thing that matters is increase or decrease in GH levels.
