We are contemplating developing the best calcium formula for women. Its just a known fact that most women lack calcium plus all calcium supplements are not highly absorbed.

Would you buy for your mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, or girlfriends?

So...wives are excluded from this?

My wife was diagnosed with ostiopia. This is a very mild and very early form of ostio.

Sure wish I could find somone that would sell an excellent, efficient and cost effective calcium supplement for my wife... ;)

I would have my girlfriend check it out. We currently have her using a Calcium/Magnesium supplement, but it gives her GI problems sometimes (at least we think that's the culprit).

However, this seems like an odd supplement for USP Laps to persue. The demographic for which you are known in doesn't quite justify you coming out with a supplement for women, especially one that is just for "health" (yes I know Calcium can aid in fatloss in women). Right now, the money is in instant gratification supplements, not long term health ones. Throw in some Green Tea and Forskolin and tout it as a womens fatloss/health supplement.

Hey don't be talkin bout mah momma!!

I'd be interested in the Calcium supp for her and my sisters though.

I am crossing my fingers that my audience is not gay.lol

Your right on par with the weightloss formula and considered it, we are developing a fat loss supplement for women.

Haha, good point. Well, like I said in my email, as long as it's not caffeinated, my girlfriend would probably give it a try, depending upon the ingredients.

My delving into this subject seems to indicate that calcium absorption is most often related to poor Vitamin D status. LEF offers a new form called D3 and it enhances calcium absorption to the point where one has to be careful of the dosage to avoid hypercalcemia.

Not to be a turd in the punchbowl or anything..

One could formulate a D3/Cissus/Ipriflavone/Ecdy mix for older women and hit several avenues at once as well as enhance general "well being".

Bioman can you show me some references on that as I been hard pressed to find any. We would include D3 in our formula. Why add Ecdy?

My girlfriend's gyno told her to start taking calcium pills everyday...she took two and stopped.

Maybe if it's something more...er, glamorous like this she'll stick with it.

You know women. If it comes in a plain brown bottle from a health store, it can't possibly work. But...if it comes in a shiny package from Sephora or Ulta and promises to plump your lips or burn cellulite or strengthen hair, they're there.

You quoting me again B?? :saw: My mouth (and keyboard) always seem to get me in trouble :type:

What little info on D3 I've gleaned is from LEF..and you've likely read the same stuff. I've been taking it and it "seems" to have a mild leaning effect on its own but then it hypothetically should as D3 upregulates numerous other processes other than just calcium(which in and of itself is important for fat storage/nutrient partioning).

Ecdy is supposed to enhance calcium uptake too..I think, could be wrong. No real reason to add it other than I like it :). It does give a nice endurance boost so maybe if you're marketing to atheletic females that'd be a perk. Takes the edge/hurt off of cardio for me. Of course it's cost prohibitive and you can only fit so much stuff in one capsule and have it be effective.

Clever marketing of D3 could work. I really think it will be the "next" thing for osteo prevention as well as general health. D has sooooo many implications for health..prostate cancer and colon cancer prevention, maximizing fat burning et cetera.. that'd you have a lot of angles to work with.

But you knew all that already since you're a good businessman with good products.

Yo, I must lay down a mad shout out for the love my momma deserves, hella love!!!

You can bet I'd buy my mom something supplementational if I knew it would benefit her greater than the low budget supps she can get at her local grocery store.

Hook it up CEOSM!!
