Do you guys use a regular doc for TRT or a TRT clinic?

I ask because I've been going to a holistic clinic and they wont wright me an RX to go through my insurance. They give me an RX, but I HAVE to use their lab that's out of FL, and nothing is covered through insurance. Just feels like a scam, I ask for the RX to be sent to my local pharmacy and they say they can't do it. Just curious what everyone's experience is.

I might try looking around for a normal doc that understand hormones' and can wright a RX I can use through insurance.

Oh yea, they keep feeding my that their RX are bioidentical. I'm like, you are sending me Enclomiphene & Anastrozole, there is nothing bioidentical about that crap.

You could try looking around for a doc that would give a script but unless you’re lower than 300 in my state at least it’s gonna be annoying as hell finding one

It's because your going to a legal drug dealer who's pushing there products on you.
They don't care about your health and they will actually over prescribe you in most cases but at a outrageous price.

A real trt Dr, a endo, or just a good dr in general will prescribe you accurate amounts of the things you need and your insurance will cover it.

Soon as you said Florida I knew what was up. There's a reason your place uses a Florida clinic

Are you suggesting that TRT may soon be available the research chemical route?
I think he means you can get Enclo from RC sites and possibly through UGLs soon as well.

Yup, When I first signed up with them they didn't tell me on the front end I would have to get a script through FL. As soon as it was mentioned, I was like oh eff.

That's the dilemma, I was running 397 at one point. So I'm curious if I would be under 300 if I just ran with nothing for a couple months. I saw the other comment about RC's, but I'm not injecting anything in me from a RC.

Enclo and Anastrozole are not injectables, though. Or are you looking to get test also?

Just the pills currently.
Right. Well there are RC companies, that have a good rep and sell Enclo. MA should be coming out with an Enclo product soon. I assume it to be in liquid oral form. Right @Smont ?

Ya, it will be liquid oral but I have no clue when it's going to be available. Just regular clomid at the moment

I've been on HRT for 21+ years. I have seen primary doctors, urologists, endos.

Its a total shitshow.

ALL of them are retarded. None of them know how to diagnose and treat hypogonadism. And I worked in the medical field. I would say maybe 1% of doctors know what they are doing.

I have had to teach YALE endocrinologists how to dose T. I have had to teach them how to use HCG.

These assholes prescribed me 10,000 iu of hcg per week. This is going to devastate your testicles and permanently damage you.

Trust me when I tell you these doctors are useless.

My Primary does my HRT now, and it's only bc I tell her the dosages I want and I do bloodwork every 3 months to appease her.

I have 100mgs of CYP e4d and I have androgel at 3 pumps ED as options. She lets me do whichever I want.

The funny thing is that insurance won't pay for a $100 bottle of Watson injectable.

But they will pay $1500+ a month for two bottles of androgel.

Fucking pricks. The system is a disgrace. I know bc I worked in it.

The majority of dr’s in general suck and as stated before they definitely suck at TRT. Look for an integrative medicine practice near you. These dr’s study hormone replacement more than any other Dr’s, among other things.

Agree with this. Doctors are generally useless and don't care about hormone treatment and clinics are a scam. I had a doctor similar to Wesleys that was at for 12 years. I did my lab diligence and at that point basically told them what I needed and since I was one of their first TRT patients, they just listened, lol.

But he retired a few months back so I will be on the hunt soon.

I've definitely had my rounds with different doctors. My primary kick me to an endo, the endo had no idea what he was talking about & wouldn't give me anything. So I went the holistic clinic route, just to realize it's a money grab. My year is up at that clinic, so I'll probably start poking around for a new doc.

Anyone in the MD (Baltimore) area have any recommendations?

Are you taking anything to control your estrogen while on enlomophen? When I was just taking clomid I was also taking dim, but it didn't hold my estrogen back. My total test was at 1100, but my estrogen was through the roof.

Their not all that bad and with all the new competition they are far better than the past. I have been going the clinic route for over a decade. I currently pay $82.00 for 10ml test cyp with my script. Yes more than UGL but that is a small price to pay for legal in my situation. Were AAS decriminalized I would be UGL for most the year but until then it is what it is. Anything other than test is pretty expensive but I have seen UGL's charging 80/vial so. You just have to be with a good clinic and NOT just accept whatever "package" they want to sell you. My initial "estimate" was like $4000.00 for 20 weeks worth of meds. The bulk of that was the stupid tesa/ipam at, ready for this, 1000.00/month bwhahahahah. NO. I ended up getting my test, nolva(hate AI's), and cialis for around 500.00 for 20 weeks worth, thats 25 a week and I'm 100% legal, no head on a swivel when walking out to the mail box wondering if this is the time.......worth every penny. Now their var is outrageous so maybe one day when sales here at the store are better I can try that compound.

The one time I could have insurance cover my TRT it was with a CLUELESS endo who would only do 200mg/TC every third week. F that. Also insurance only covered the 1ml vials. So the little bit you don't get out is the same with a 1ml vial vs a 10ml but you do it 10x as often so the loss adds up. My out of pocket at walgreens was MORE than the TRT clinic. The clinics do accept health savings cards so that helps as well.

I have to agree with the sentiment about TRT clinics and Florida. There have been so many that were not even trying to hide the fact they are selling gear for cycles and they were all based there. Also, so many that have closed because of shady practices. I am sure there are decent ones, but seems it is luck of the draw to find.

no, enclomiphine doesnt have the zuclomiphine component of chlomid. no estrogen sides. i did not confirm via bloods tho. I don't think DIM works very well for estrogen control, but some people really think it does. maybe i had a bad DIM

i still have my bottle of chlomid that i tried a while ago. i made it like 7 days before feeling insane. stopped and havent touched it since

Yes, I did read his post you useless cunt. I read it as though he was expecting to be sent test and anastrozle but instead received enclomiphene and anastrozle. When the next poster suggested RC I thought he meant test as enclo has been available on research sites for years now. Kindly go and **** yourself. :ROFLMAO:

Do you feel like there was any special secret to your success Rocket? Like did you hear about the 3rd doc from someone who was already receiving TRT, or were they a friend of someone you knew, or was it just a matter of patience/persistence?

People like me.

Lower caliber medical professionals have jobs helping patients w HRT due to the incompetence in the field of endocrinology.

Also if you are a male in wanting an edge and more muscle, then "testosterone is dangerous".

If you are a confused dumb as **** 14 year old girl that wants to transition to a man "testosterone is safe".

And you will get a script no questions asked.. and be babied and be treated "special".

The DEA won't kick down your door.

Trust me when I tell you this.. I'm.not wrong.

F*** this political agenda crap. This is why doctors are useless.

I had a new Endo just this week ask me on my telehealth call if I own a firearm.

Trust me the "woke" fucks are coming for you and I. The good thing is ,"we" are bigger, stronger, faster and smarter than them.

And we are going to whip their asses.

I went with Viking alternative since the VA is a **** show and won’t check hormones they want to keep rocking on. nothing good about Oklahoma endos and **** so it was viking or the anabolic doc. They ran all my bloodwork started at a reasonable dose and want to check bloods again in 7 weeks before the next refill. They have a pharmacy in FL that sends stuff out but other pharmacy’s as well. So far Thursday was my third pin of test c Thursday and it’s feel legit. currently doing .5 cc twice a week and feeling pretty good.

(ugh I wish all my old post were still here with my old post and status ive I had stuff from running prohormones pre ban in the desert 2010 and all gone. Just feel like I might be taken lightly as a “ new member “ lol )

When I was in respiratory school one of my clinical instructors was really big on "treating the patient, not the numbers." Yes numbers are important but if the number are "normal" and the pt feels like **** SOMETHING is wrong you fools.

To be fair these Dr. do see hoards of fat, braindead, unmotivated and whiney people every day who feel terrible because they have terrible lifestyles but don't have a "disease" YET and thus they here alot of bitching by those who are not willing to change anything lifestyle/work wise and after a while they become jaded and you have to break through this and allow them to see you are not part of the hoard and have a brain.

I got my Blood Work back today, 3 weeks after my pellet insertion T-Level 1400 💪
How often do you have to repeat this procedure? Every 3 months? Longer? What is The pain level/after effects (if any)?

I went and saw my regular doctor. He organised blood tests, and sent me to an endo when he noticed my test levels were tanked.
The process took about a month, but the best thing I ever did.
My doctor liased with the endo, and now prescribes my testosterone.
Important thing is your approach to your doctor.
I did not ask him to put me on TRT. Instead, I told him about low testosterone symptoms, no libido, brain fog, muscle weakness etc. It was him that came to the conclusion that I needed TRT, so he went out of his way to help me.
I know if I stormed into his practice, demanding TRT, the outcome would probably have been different...

Normally 5-6 Months, but she told me it will probably not keep my levels as high as I wont for that long so we are thinking 3-4 months. There is almost zero pain unless you bump the spot they are in and that last maybe a week.
