I had to read the first post over to make sure I wasn’t reading it wrong. Most soda probably has a good amount of caffeine. Coffee I think is 170mg. Tea is around 120mg depending on type or some where around there. Caffeine is everywhere so why try and avoid it if you don’t have to.
Some people don't respond well to stimulants so I understand in their cases.
And then some people like to take breaks from it so it gives them more energy when they start back on it.
But you're right, its everywhere; and I think most people likely take in a lot more per day than they realize. A lot of people here may keep up with it, but I mean the average person.
12 oz. soda - averages 38 to 43 mg.
20 oz. soda - averages 70 to 80 mg.
1 shot of espresso - averages 80 mg.
1 cup (8 oz.) regular coffee - averages 80 mg.*
Energy drinks average from 83 mg. (small Red Bull) to 300 mg. (Bang and Rockstar Xdurance).
* The 80 mg. per cup of coffee is based on coffee that you make at home, like regular coffee. Gourmet coffees can have much more; and most people don't drink just 8 oz. Most of my travel mugs for example are 16 or 24 oz. so that would be 160 mg. to 240 mg.
Focus XT has 161 mg. active caffeine which is pretty much perfect for a nootropic bc too many stims can overpower the nootropic benefits. But we get asked all the time if we're ever going to do a higher stim one and this year we may bc we have so many people ask.
